Stanjo is one of the young guys I have irrational love for, along with TJ Warren, Rodney Hood, and Gary Harris. Zero fear in him.
This, right here.

His shot is broken, has trouble handling the ball, and makes some boneheaded decisions but you know what? He proved to me he is going to be a player in this league when he went full bore at Lebron. He is going to work his ass off to become a star, and thats what matters. Not what he did last year, this year, or even the next. Its the future that excites me.

He won me over in the playoffs.

Said it since Day One:

Stanley Johnson will be THE key for us!

His mentality is why he's special

There is a twisted part of me that really wishes we had a role for him and enough cap space to make him a "serious offer" Literally just to test him.

So glad we pulled out of that trade. Houston was straight tryna trick us, now they don't even want to commit to him.

HOU isn't even giving him a offer yet and it's Sept. If he was clearly good, then they'd have signed him immediately since they're mighty thing at the C spot.

SVG was clearly right to pull out of that trade. Motiejunas is damaged goods.

It would appear as though he is the only restricted free agent not to sign yet.

Sucks for him, but glad we nixed the trade.

It literally is just him left. We dodged a bullet on that one. Brooklyn, Houston, and Miami should all be interested in him (houston because they "like him", the other two because they are so depleted of talent). AND NO ONE is showing ANY interest.

We veto the trade and then wind up with a guy who many thought to go top 10 with the pick we got back.

I think this honestly might be our 2nd best non-trade that almost was a trade of all time. 1st is the original Patrick Ewing to Seattle trade that had us in it.

Yeah, this speaks volumes as to why the trade was nixed in the first place.

Guy has no value. Its too bad for him too.

You guys see the details of the D Rose Rape case. Absolutely disgusting.

Q: So they just said, ‘Hey, it’s the middle of the night. Let’s go over to Plaintiff’s house’ and they never gave you a reason why they wanted to go over there?’

Rose: No, but we men. You can assume.

Q: I’m sorry?

Rose: I said we men. You can assume. Like we leaving to go over to someone’s house at 1:00, there’s nothing to talk about.

So I've been doing some thinking, and I would love to grab a sharpshooter to come off the bench and then I remembered that Orlando is a terribly run organization and make stupid moves all the time, and they love trading with us as well. I would love to get Mario Hezonja out of there as they won't play him adequate time and seeing as how he was a top 5 pick, and that team is a steaming turd and they still won't play him (unbelievably dumb when your a terrible team)so I'm figuring Stan could swindle that braintrust yet again.

He could also developed into something special and a 6'8 SG is something I would kill for.

What would it take?

There's not a package I can see that would make them trade

You gotta remember that Meeks is expiring so at worst Mario is pegged as their back up SF/SG moving forward.

Vuc/Biyombo
Ibaka/AG/Jeff Green
AG/Mario/Green/Fournier
Fournier/Mario/Meeks
Payton/DJ

Intriguing potential there:

Vuc, Biyombo & Ibaka could actually split the 96 minutes available at PF & C

Gordon is apparently looked at as their SF of the future so if he plays 30 minutes that leaves 66 minutes for Fournier & Mario backing him up and at SG

Payton and DJ man the PG position

For this coming season they've got Green & Meeks to handle some minutes at PF, SF & SG since Mario & Gordon arent really ready for 30 minutes a night yet

Middleton out six months. Bucks were my surprise playoff team, but it's much less likely on a team that needs perimeter scoring that just lost their best perimeter scorer.

Opens the door more for Chicago, New York, Orlando and Miami (although if Bosh plays, they already had a good shot).

That sucks for Middleton. I liked seeing him succeed.

And to waste a year of Thon Maker's remaining prime like that? :(

I smiled!

Henson/Monroe
Freak
Jabba
WHO
Delly/MCW

They lack decent depth and shooting big time now

I'm thinking Delly gets a lot of minutes

I'm confident in my team seeing growth this year whether or not the end goal(playoffs) is realized this season. I feel this is the 1st season that Hennigan can realize a clearer vision of his roster and I think the young pieces are put into positions to succeed(Hezonja/Payton) and to experiment(Gordon). I believe word has it that the owner has asked for the roster to be in a win now position due to his health(Skiles hire) which is why some may question the moves made this offseason which were diametrically opposed to our GM's organic growth approach. I think our off-season was an attempt to please both ideals to an extent and build off our 35 win season which I think we can do.

I think teams like Milwaukee, New York, Chicago, Washington as well as my own could all make the playoffs with the amount of risks each roster is taking due to the talent spread in the conference and I think with the grind of the 82 game season players' health can determine who makes the playoffs. I have no problems if any user finds our management to be delusional or if one thinks we will suck hard next season but I personally have faith we can find success with the growth we have shown in the past and the fit we have compared to last year.

I now view Orlando as a darkhorse candidate in the East.

3 quality bigs
1 Glorious coach
4 potential young guns

Other than Payton taking another step it might come down to what Green & Meeks can offer the system due to youth and match ups...cause if Vogel gets quality out of them they'll bring some punch off the pine.

Throwin DJ, Mario & Biyombo and that's a fine bench unit.

Lol. I doubt that happens and we'll probably be better than Detroit this season.

I doubt it happens as well. Good attitude! I hate fair weather fans.

FYI, if you're going to read other team's boards you should expect to read some harsh comments about your own. Find the humor. Good luck (except when you play the Pistons of course.)

Ibaka is going to play as SF? Talented roster but horrible configuration, no way you guys would be better than us.
