What's also crazy is Phoenix got a good deal for KD. Giving up multiple 3&D guys plus picks for KD is a deal that is more on the value side than what BKN could've gotten considering the Gobert trade

Woj said live that pistons were in a three team trade with suns and Atlanta that would’ve landed us John Collins. That is interesting!

I do not want John Collins last 4 years he went from 21 pts per game down to 13 points he's on the downside next year maybe 10 points per game.

John Collins value is low right now. Unless we're only giving up Bagley III and CoJo he's not worth hurting next year's cap space over.... I not even really like that trade all that much to be honest.

The Knicks deal would almost certainly be for Fournier and multiple picks.

The Bucks deal would likely have to be something like Grayson Allen and a few other fillers plus picks.

If we can get collins for peanuts, we should take that risk. I don't think he's going to be 20 ppg guy, but I think he can be an above average starting PF. He's a decent defender and rebounder. He shoots over 50% from the floor and has been a good 3 point shooter up until this year.

Very encouraging that we were part of a 3 way last night w the Suns. Weaver is doing something. And as usual, very quiet about it

I don’t think we were trying to get Collins - that was Phoenix. We were just a facilitator.

You get the sense that Weaver was doing his due diligence on teams calling making offers for Bogey without seriously considering accepting, but maybe the events of last night have really increased the quality of the offers (especially teams in the Western Conference who don't want to fall behind in the arms race) and we might see something materialize after all.

Sounds like an orgy where one is just sitting in the corner.

I disagree. If Durant hadn’t become available, we would have made a deal. Very encouraging.

Milwaukee getting Jae Crowder for five second round picks. Probably takes them out of the Bogey stakes which they've been linked to.

Barrett's contract is rough, and we don't need another inneficient scorer, we have Cade already.
