Re: Race to the bottom: Who's our biggest competition?
10 or 11 games left and below are the schedules with bold being somewhat winnable games for the Team in that category to win. It isnt looking good. OKC and Hou are looking like they will lose out TBH. IMO we could win any of the games that we have scheduled. I think we have the easiet schedule. Which is aweful for the tank. We probably wont get back into the bottom 3 yet those games agaisnt Orlando and Minn. Are hugely important IF we lose to the teams that we should lose to which we havent done so great at that.

Should have bought out Joseph after he was acquired.
Once again winning meaningless games at the end of the season while the rest of the sad sack teams unabashedly tank.

I don’t like seeing games won because of him but I think his non-guaranteed contract may be a nice trade chip in the offseason.

Most were excited we traded Wright because it meant losing a Vet that would hurt the tank. Little did we know it just meant subbing in Wrights production and minutes for another vet. Agreed he should of been bought out.
You really need to commit to tanking to finish at the bottom for a given season. It was obv this was a season to tank. We should of skipped the free agents and locked in a top 5 pick this season and next season. Now we are coin flipping it and hoping for lotto luck and I expect next season we end up in this same range or improved.

Re: Race to the bottom: Who's our biggest competition?
I’m trying to figure how a team that’s struggling to tank this season will, after getting a high draft pick and all the rookies expectedly improving further, will finish with a worse record next season. Maybe only put four players on the floor at a time?

And the Thunder win; sweet. Now Minny just needs to polish off Houston.

Re: Race to the bottom: Who's our biggest competition?
Sheesh, the Thunder almost blew a 6 point lead with 7 seconds left.
This makes the win yesterday even more frustrating because the Pistons would be 3 wins clear of them right about now and the Wolves would be tied. Not to mention that the Cavs would probably be out of reach.
