Shabazz obviously had lower assist percentage, but also a lower turnover percentage as well.
It's also worth pointing out that Barnes had three other first round draft picks with him on that team (2 of them lottery). Shabazz didn't have a supporting cast like that. These are the drawbacks of choosing your college based on playing for your hometown team. I'm not a KY fan, but he would have been better served going and playing for Coach K.
