From the New York Post:

When asked if he knows whom he would draft with the top pick, should the Knicks win the draft lottery, Jackson said, “I do.”

During a 45-minute presentation to season-ticket holders at the Garden's Theatre, Jackson also was asked what he cherished more in a big man — the ability to pass and score or be a dominant defender.

“Defender,'' Jackson said to applause, adding to the irony of his trade of Chandler last offseason. “That's a good starting point — a guy like Tyson Chandler and the defensive passion they have to have. So many screen and rolls, so many 3-point shooters, a player of size has to cover and protect the basket but also step out defensively and do defensive work on the extreme part of the floor. It's very important for that player to have defensive capabilities.''

Phil Jackson is trolling. His first order of business as GM was to trade away Tyson Chandler. Now he says that's the type of player most necessary to win. Seriously, the dude is just laughing all the way to the bank. Glad it ended up being Dolan's money and not ours.

Sounds like he would use the top pick on Towns

Or WCS

I'm excited for the Western Conference playoffs, I'll be rooting for my boy Steph Curry! Who is everyone picking?

He'd be so perfect here, textbook SVG guy. He can be our Hedo but younger.

Hedo could pass, even initiate the offense. Has Danilo EVER passed?

(if he does, fine... I'll admit I've seen very little of Denver this year and nothing of Gallinari that I can remember)

Gallo isn't the point forward that Hedo is, but he'd be perfect as starting SF/backup stretch 4. He's an atrocious defender though, so Detroit would need a strong defender behind him. All in all, Id love for Detroit to grab him with pure cap

He actually wasn't a terrible defender before the injury. We'll see what happens once he's got his legs under him 100%.

Meyers Leonard has developed a hell of a shot... It looks like he moves around the perimeter pretty nice for a big man too. I'm kind of shocked, too bad we can't get our hands on him.

Has anyone seen this nightmare? For all the complaining we do with KCP, it really could be a lot worse. He's shooting the Bucks out of the playoffs.

I don't typically read through this thread, but with Milwaukee MCW has been good. 14 points/6 assists/4 boards/2 steals in 31mpg on 43% FG (56% from the hoop, 41 from 3-10 feet, 50% from 10-16 feet, 28% 16-3point, 15% from 3, 77% FT, he can't shoot- 15% from deep, 16 PER . Unfortunately for MCW, his bad habits were allowed to foster since 6ers have zero interest in winning games but his production with the Bucks has been very good of late and he is primed to have a stellar 3rd season under Kidd.

Heres his shotchart with the Bucks, its not great but certainly not nearly as bad as with the 6ers.

I always felt like datome deserved more of a chance. I'm glad he's getting minutes in boston.

I didn't like that trade, but Jerebko did ask for it and I don't blame him. tolliver took all his minutes..

Davis lead his team to a playoff berth. This kid is so special with only having Tyreke and a broken down Eric Gordon. Jrue was literally gone for most of the season.

Scott Brooks is on the hott seat.

As you all know i think that entire FO should be on the hott seat after the harden and RJ trades and just over all the way they've been handling their stars.

Before the 2012 season started i stated that when harden was available in a trade that we needed to offer knight, monroe, and a pick. I got mocked.

Whos laughing now?
