Temporarily probably not, or at least not much once both return. But come trade deadline, at least one of them won't be here or Grant will manifest another imaginary lingering injury that causes him to miss multiple games.

Sure. He was drafted #7 with the hope of being the PG of the future, he's played 53 games, there's no one behind him on the depth chart who looks like they're ready to blast off, and it's a rebuilding season that was going to be filled with an abundance of losses anyway.
Try it this way...why SHOULDN'T he start? And skip the "He doesn't put up NBA starting caliber PG numbers" argument because there isn't anyone on this team who will. If you're willing to concede to that point, there's no reason he shouldn't start given what I stated originally.
