I like Iggy, but he has declined and I put his value about $8 mil right now. How much does he currently make?

$12.3M this year, 2 years remaining after this year.

If we could do it for our expirings of Butler JJ Singler Datome I would. Works cap wise. GSW have Barnes starting now and could use the cap relief going forward but doubtful that's what they'd want. They're going for a ship so odds are you'd have to take out JJ and throw in Moose. Moose has played great, especially offensively. Odds aren't looking good he's gonna stay with us. I dunno I just want us to get an actual starting 3 in here in the worst way. We could use a playmaker like Iggy

I hate that contract for an average player, but Iggy would surely be a missing link here and a solid vet presence in this lineup.

GSW think they can win it all this year. Whether that is realistic or not, I doubt they will be trading any of their core unless they get a star back in return.

While this is true, this isn't the first year they looked good. Injuries always effect this team. As of now, i would agree, but if history dictates anything, they may need to make one later on in the season

What about a trade with Denver?

Nuggets get Smith, Jerebko, Mitchell, Singler

Smith better apologize to Faried because Denver will save 3.6M this year and 10M next year. For a team that is not really going anywhere in the tough West, their owner might as well save money and go after another player this offseason

Pistons get Chandler, McGee, Hickson

Chandler is shooting 33% from FG and 25% from 3PT his stock is super low. There hasnt been a better time to trade for him with Denver looking lottery bound. We easily make the playoffs and maybe even the 2nd round with this roster. Big man depth would be huge esp in the playoffs both Hickson and McGee are capable of playing 20-25 minutes

Jennings / Augustin - Dinwiddie
KCP / Meeks
Chandler / Butler - Martin
Monroe / Hickson
Drummond / McGee - Anthony

First, Denver can't part with both their backup centers. You would have to take out Hickson.

Second, I would take Josh Smith over Chandler and McGee. They both bums.

Josh Smith and Kyle Singler for Amir Johnson and Landry Fields

The Raptors get an "upgrade" at the starting PF spot as well as depth on the wings.

We get Amir Johnson who's already had a lengthy career before his 30th birthday. He'd be a great third big behind drumroe. He and Fields are both expiring contracts, so we could really make it a point to retain Monroe.

Smith for Nash straight up maybe the Lakers make a bad trade.

I think SVG wanted to see what Smith looked like this season before moving him for nothing. Smith has been mostly terrible but considering that Drummond has arguably been this teams worst starter, I still don't think SVG risks trading Smith for garbage.

I agree. Drummond has been our worst starter. Thats unbelievable to comprehend for me at this point. I was expecting a star player.

On Bill Simmons ESPN NBA show Ramona Shelburn said that the Lakers ownership wants to go for the playoffs and the 8th seed instead of tanking

Maybe we can do a Smith+Mitchell for Nash trade

Lakers get Smith, Singler, Mitchell

Minnesota gets few 2nd rounders from Detroit/Lakers or Houston's 1st Round Pick in 2015 from Lakers

Pistons get Nash, a starting SF in Brewer, and have 9M extra to use in free agency

Jennings / Augustin - Nash
KCP / Meeks
Brewer / Butler - Martin
Monroe / Jerebko
Drummond / Anthony

I would take this trade in a heart beat not a big fan of brewer but wouldn't be mad if we got him.
