If he finds someone willing to offer him more than the min in the meantime, more power to him.

would be insane to see the man back in a pistons jersey.

Tobias has ties to Detroit and want to go there, KCP left as soon as his rookie contract was over, after he refused an extension, and he lost a lot of money in the process.

After a couple of championships and a being proven vet that any contender would kill to have in their roster, there is absolutely 0 chance KCP would go to a 14 win team that is in no hurry to win.

IF Trajan can't get any great signings, maybe it's time to blame the city of Detroit, since it doesn't seem to matter who the GM is. Even when we were winning, going to the ECF, Finals, winning.

I wouldn’t worry about OG.

He’ll be staying in NY now.

Doesn't the Bridges trade make it less likely?

No way.

They just went ALL in. No way do they cheap out on OG now. They’re going for it. You don’t give up all those picks just to replace OG with Bridges.

And it’s not like you can have too many guys with the skill set they have.

I think it’s more likely they move Randle and Robinson.

That said I’d be interested.

Edit: Nah, looks like they figure to lose him now.

I think they found out no one wanted Mitchell Robinson, and perhaps they are also getting wind that a team (maybe OKC) will be giving Hartenstein more than they could offer him. They likely feel like the best option might be to simply keep Robinson (instead of give up an asset to move on from him) and then also to let Hartenstein walk.

Yeah. I feel like our cap space would be useful if we were the only team that had it.

I'm on the fence on Randle, even if the cost is low. He's not good on defense and he doesn't shoot threes well. He's about 33% over the past 3 years. He's certainly give us a bonafide scorer but not an overly efficient one.

He also is likely going to opt out of his contract next year and want a MAX deal and he's just not exciting at $50 million per year the same way LaVine isn't exciting on his contract.

I say no.

We don’t need more no 3 no D players. We’re all stocked up in that department.

Well, if you're getting Randle, you might as well go for LaVine.

Nets got their picks back from Houston by giving up some of the Phoenix picks they just got from the Knicks so the Nets are now free to rebuild and likely in on the Cooper Flagg sweepstakes now.

It's worth noting that the Nets GM is also the person who first gave Trajan Langdon and assistant GM job so its certainly possible that the two have a good working relationship.

If only we would have kept Monty we might have had Cam Johnson fall right into our laps this summer.

I like Bridges well enough but that's quite a haul of unprotected 1sts for a guy who is really a very high level role player. It's a good add for the Knicks but I think the Nets did really well. I wonder how OG fits now. Hart, DiVincenzo, OG, Bridges, Randle. It's quite crowded at the 2-4, I'll be interested to see how they sort that out.
