This is what Rod Beard is tweeting, like Grant is going to fetch a King's ransom. But is Grant even All-star caliber? He was for about 3 months last year and then fell off a cliff that he has not climbed back up yet.

Does Rod know anything?

Can't trade two 1sts in a row

Oops, I'd settle for the 23 and any of their firsts from 25-28.
22 is the only one they don't have to offer.

Keep it simple and let’s do Simons+filler

We would get into the trade with the pelicans and have to acquire Bledsoe.

No Thank You

Basically this. It'd be the Bledsoe plus lotto pick and that would be it in this current trade market

I think it might be the 2022 New Orleans pick + the trade exception? Taking on Bledsoe wouldn't be a huge deal tho

Pacers just won this year's trade deadline

Turned: Lamb, Holiday, Sabonis, Levert, 2nd

into

Haliburton, Hield, Tristan/Rubio (expirings), 1st round pick from Cavs, 2nd from Houston, 2nd from Utah

Pay attention Weaver, that's how you take advantage of desperate teams

Also no way the Kings wouldnt have traded us Mitchell in a Grant deal if they were willing to ship Haliburton out.

Wtf are you doing Weaver make the trade
Make what trade? Who are we getting?

Doesnt adding McCollum sort of devalue the Pelicans pick a bit? I doubt they make the playoffs but it could be like pick 12 or 13 though.

The Portland talk may have some real traction. Lilliard lobbied to get Grant on Team USA last year.

NO 1st + Little is probably something I'd take at this point.

I'm going to go with "Because that trade wasn't offered."

Prove it. Provide a source/link.

Easy. There's no one even reporting that it was.

I would take Nurkic and a first for Grant, maybe more.

Perhaps you're not up to speed. Let me translate:

Other teams making trades = Detroit has been offered trades = Weaver has turned down all trade offers since no trade has been made

The New Orleans pick would certainly be of interest. That could be a top 10 pick, 5-14 to be specific.
Not sure what else Portland has to realistically offer as I highly doubt Simons is available but the New Orleans pick as a base would certainly be interesting.
