If Kawhi leaves Toronto and the Raptors pivot to rebuild, I could see us trading for Kyle Lowry (especially considering his history with Casey). Reggie, Galloway, & Svi works in the Trade Machine. I imagine Toronto would want a sweetener and we’d balk at sending a first, so that would need to be negotiated.

Not saying it’s likely and not even sure I like it, but just saying I could see those dominoes falling.

He's expiring as well. But I think other teams would give up more sweetener than we would be willing. I don't think TO will tear it down either, they'd play out the season - probably make a decent addition still. Lowry, Siakam, Ibaka, Gasol, OG is still solid in the East, and I think they probably trade Kawhi for a huge TPE out of it.

Play out the year and then reassess - but I don't think you tear down a defending champion now matter what. Lowry, Ibaka and Gasol would expire after the season - start again at the bottom. I think Masai will try and line up to have max money when Giannis hits UFA after next season. Play out this year, let all the FA walk and tank out next year to get a high draft pick and have max cap room to bid on Giannis.

This would be best case scenario I think. Those two can shoot the 3 and would make more sense why Rose came here. He would start and DJ is a great backup. Fournier and Snell at SF sounds perfect

This would give us all a clean slate and be rid of RJ finally. All of our contracts would be lined up for the summer of 2021

Hard to imagine the Magic doing that. Augustin is better than Reggie (yeah, I said it, come at me), and Fournier is better than Galloway.

Is that worth the money saved? It's not as though Fournier's contract is really long or anything.

Nah, I liked Augustin when he was here. Fournier isn't a world beater, but he's useful, and you're always always looking for that 'right combination.' Reggie had a pretty good season last, but there's something about his attitude that always leaves me cold.

Would have been nice if we could have done:

Pistons in: Iguodala / Crowder
Bucks in: Leuer
Grizz in: Kevin Porter Jr / Snell / Galloway

There were so many different ways #30 could’ve been used better to our advantage.

This was the first time the franchise has acquired a 1st round pick in trade since 2007....

Galloway, Maker for Taj Gibson December 15. Balances the Knicks roster a bit and take a look at Maker.

^I'm all for trading Maker away. Man, if we just let Stanley expire we'd have had $4M more to spend this off-season. That is two vet minimum deals - both of which I bet would out-perform whatever Thon offers this season.

Stefanski cannot trade.

I think it's weird Orlando gave Ross 4yrs 54mill to play off the bench..maybe the front office is deciding it's time to move from Evan.

Or maybe they're just up to their old tricks. They've always made baffling choices.

He got Snell and #30 for a dead contract. What he did with #30 is what was questionable, can't discount getting Snell shooting around 40%, that's solid.

One could look at the #30 trade as turning 1 kid into multiple kids though

At that point in the Draft it's a crapshoot, one comes with guaranteed money though.

Better to drop down a bit, pick up a couple of extra kids and see what you see.

Highly unlikely the #30 or our 2nds play a big part in the future but you never know and giving yourself extra bites at that cherry isn't a bad thing

The time is now to get our star PG. Trade future picks, Kennard and Sakeo if need-be. Please don't allow the Heat to get Westbrook for freaking Dragic and Winslow.
