Bet you aren't feeling that "DETermination" slogan they are using now either, eh? Kind of hard to, when there isn't an ounce of "determination" in these players.

They could go back to playing in teal for all I care. It would be fitting at least.

As long as we don't do anything "trendy" (like the teal horsepower in the 90's), then I'm ok with it.

I agree that it isn't a top priority, but at this point, I'm not opposed to shaking things up. A new uni change will hopefully mar a new era.

That being said, I don't think DETermination will last more than a couple years.

I never liked the ones we have now. I like them better than the teal ones, but this font on the text is too weird. I want them to go back to the original Bad Boys jersey style, with the classic block-letter font.

You would think the new owner would be the one to decide on a jersey change. So who made the call on this move?

All I've heard is that they cant make changes to the organization, players, coaches, etc, until its sold, yet changing the teams jersey's seems like maybe the most drastic change possible. I mean, players and coaches come and go, but when you change jerseys its usually permanent for many years, and is what symbolizes your franchise.

Its like selling DuPont and then changing the famous logo before its sold. You'd think the new owners would want a say in the new logo, or if they even wanted to chage it at all.

Maybe this was a call put in by the new owner, knowing it would take a few years to get approved, so they wanted to get the ball rolling.

Dammit no, our uniforms are so simple and classic. I love 'em.

Yeah, this isn't something that needs to be done. The current uniforms are great. I wouldn't mind them bringing back the red alt, or changing the D inside the P logo on the shorts, but other than that, they're perfect, IMO. Two years is a ways off, hopefully we can get a petition started to change their minds in the interim or something.

This does have a scent of the teal days though. After the Bad Boys run ended and the team sucked for a few years and nobody came to the Palace, they followed the sexy new trend of teal uniforms like the San Jose Sharks, thinking it would draw fans maybe.

This sounds like the same situation. Champioship run just ended. They have sucked for a few years and no one goes to the games, now instead of making personel and coaching changes to improve the product to draw fans, they think marketing a new jersey is going to get ppl running to the Palace to see the new threads.

I love the uniforms too. Minor changes are ok, but i dont want to see us do a complete overhaul where we have like an engine rising from Lake Erie or something.

I can't help but think if they changed them it would be to something "sleek" and "modern," like the stupid Bobcats or the Warriors jerseys before they changed them again (and went back to the classic look ironically).

Go back to teal. It fits so well with the kind of team Joe has built.

The current uniforms are awesome. Modern yet classic with respect to the Bad Boy uni's. They should definitely stay or have minor tweaks....

Remember those uniforms the Mavs wore for 1 game a few years ago. Those were amazing.

I read they are looking at a rising up theme??? I don't have very high expectations for this.
Lets hope they keep the changes to a minimum

The 2nd Teal Era is on its way.

This is something that needs to happen. I've been calling for this to happen the past few summers.

I hope we go with the same route that the Utah Jazz took this year with their jerseys...just go back to the classics. I think theirs are slightly modernized, but I'd like to just go back to the red/white/blue from the Allan Houston days.

I've always wanted black jerseys also.
