Mr. Cousins

RT @WojYahooNBA: The Kings have suspended DeMarcus Cousins "indefinitely," team says.

Mr. Monroe has shown flashes of greatness and flashes of inconsistency but it looks like we may be able to chalk this one in the W column for Dumars and those who were against us using more resources to acquire Mr. Cousins on draft day.

Mr. Cousins seems to be an angry, angry man.

Cousins is a headcase and hes a chucker but you will still see many a Piston fan clamor for him

I still think Cousins can be very successful but he needs a better environment with good veteran leadership. Monroe was clearly the right choice though, especially now that we have Drummond to go with him. Those two are a perfect complement.

The Pistons have gotten remarkably fortunate that other teams didn't snarf up Monroe, Knight and Drummond and even Singler.

Stay the frig away from guys like Cousins. He came into the league with having the reputation of having one of the worst personality profiles anyone had ever seen for a college player coming into the league. Guys like that just never seem to be worth it. I'm glad he's another team's problem.

If that's all we would have to give up to get Cousins, lets make the trade today!!! They would probably want Drummond or Monroe though...

Cousins value is low right now, who knows?

Mr Cousins should go with Mr Suh to the Mr anger management therapist.

Ive wanted Cousins for a long time, but after seeing what the Lions go through with all the Suh distractions, I'm not sure I want any part of Cousins anymore.

As much as I liked the Bad Boys, Rasheed, Suh and all that, having that type of image seems to always make winning harder. Like the league is always against you. I'd rather not deal with that this time around. Even though we don't win a lot now, at least we don't have any problem players that are costing us games.

Call me crazy, but I think the Wizards would be a nice fit for Cousins...Maybe an offer like Nene, Beal, Vesely for Cousins, Hayes, and Salmons could get it done...I think John Wall could help Cousins get his act together...

Wizards just dealt McGee because he was a bonehead, same goes for Blatche, I doubt they would touch Cousins with a 10 foot pole. I dont see any young team wanting Cousins, I can see an old team like Boston/LAL/SAS wanting to give peanuts for him but I dont see any young team wanting to add Cousins to their locker room. He's a distraction and potentially a cancer.

^Yeah, that's true...It would look good on paper to see Wall and Cousins on the same team though...

Very surprised. Thought this was going to be a thread about getting cousins. Glad its not. I wanted him in 2010 but not anymore.

I have criticized Moose a lot this season at times, but I am glad we have him instead of Cousins. I don't like the Sheed comparisons that much, because Sheed was always a better teammate and played harder when it mattered(not that the Kings have played any really important games recently). Sheed brought intensity and was really unselfish. Cousins doesn't seem very unselfish or a good teammate to me.

I think Charlotte would be a pretty good landing spot for him as far as young teams go. Kemba and MKG are both high character/strong leadership type guys and MJs a guy who commands respect, he might be able to help keep him in line.

This team could use some fire and passion - but Cousins seems to have too much. There has been a couple times this year where a Piston has been fouled hard or in JJ's case elbowed and nobody got a little froggy about it.

I've got to at least try :-)

Stuckey and Drummond for Evans and Cousins :-)

I was totally one of those guys that thought we should trade up to get Cousins. He still has some serious potential, but I think he days in Sactown are numbered.

Won't be surprised that 15 years later Cousins will be considered one of those what if players. He has too many negatives to make him worth considering.

I can see the Heat trying to get him given that they lack a good big, but I don't think he'll pan out.
