Lindsey Hunter

Post#1 » by retrolenny » Sat Jan 19, 2013 11:18 am

Alvin Gentry has been given the boot by PHO and Lindsay is listed as one of two candidates to take his place as interim coach. I hope Lindsay gets the job. He's be a good coach and teach PHO what they've never known... HOW TO PLAY SOME DEFENSE!

yeah, I'm rooting for Lindsey too.

Chauncey credits him for helping learn the PG position. I think he'd be a great coach. And you're right he would finally teach them how to play defense.

If Lindsey gets the job Ill go to a game.

I went when Denver was in town and Adrian Dantley was the interim coach. Before the game I got down to the lower lvls and called his name and when he turned I flashed my Dantley Pistons jersey. He noded and smiled and I yelled "Thankyou" to him. He is my fav all time Piston.

Underrated Piston and overall NBA player. I hate how these guys bounce around in their prime and get lost in the mix.

Congrats to Lindsey.

I was thinking how crucial he was to our defense, and that we need to find that tenacious on-ball defender again for this new era.

What great on-ball defenders are out there?

I know the obvious ones like Tony Allen that are likely unattainable. But any lesser known, younger guys that we might be able to get?

We got the elite interior defender set with Drummond. We need to find that elite perimeter defender that can dig in and harass opposing guards into turnovers. Forcing teams to use up 10 sec of the clock just to get into their offense. Thats something we're missing to be a great defense.

Wilson Chandler when he's right (pre hip injury)... can also stretch the floor.

What ever happened with the alleged mortgage fraud scam? Until that went down, I would've expected Hunter to be coaching over Curry.

You guys can have hunter back. He is toxic waste. Back doored people here in Arizona. Being investigated by the FBI! No coaching experience.
On top of this he doesn't know how to coach. Highly reported in az, he doesn't know how to run practices, his assistants are running them. This guy is a joke!

Thankful his buddy who got him hired blanks is gone at the end of the season so will hunter!

So for you Detroit people who want him, just wait till the end of the season you will get your chance.

Enough with the smears... L.H. is a decent man... I spent some time with him at a fund raiser in Detroit... his heart is in the right place... his positive attitude rubs off on you...
The Suns need someone that understands defensive principles.

Don't come over to the suns board then. Cause hunter and blanks are easily the most hated people in Phoenix right now! Every Arizona website is blasting these two buffoons. It's guaranteed here in Phoenix the "interim" coach hunter and blanks will not be in Arizona past this year.

Lol at the understands defensive principles. His assist coaches are coaching the team right now because he is lost.

I was actually wondering the same thing since that was the last thing I remember hearing about Hunter prior to this.

Y'all are welcome to post any insight on Hunter, many do not remember him as a player. And now he was kind of called in from left field to pitch  .... Trust me, not everyone believes what Dan Majerle posted, I mean Sunsdeuce. Essentially the so called hatred has been bubbling in the pot for a while (not towards LH).... and there are a lot of flame fanners. This buttjester is bellowing the most.
What ? Me Worry ?
