What does everyone think about the following trade?
Det Out: Stuckey, Daye, Singler
Det in: Jack, Landry
I think it makes us a much more complete team and is fair for both teams.
We become:
Knight/Bynum
Jack/Knight
Prince/Landry
Max/CV
Moose/AD/(Resign Wallace)

I don't see how that helps us much in all honesty.

Why would we trade a young, cheap player in Singler to add two 30 year olds to a borderline fringe playoff team?

Solid point. I also don't see why GS would do it either.

I'd probably do it. I like Jack and Landry a lot, and they are pretty good players. Although Daye and Stuckey have very little value this year. GS laughs us off the phone.

Thats bad for GSW. Jack and Landry are very important for their team.

Stuck is NOT a scrub. He is simply not used correctly by Frank.

They drafted Udoh over Monroe. Wait that's bad.
They fired Nellie right? Erg I think he retired
You may be right. We're talking about GSW

I've always liked Jack. His game reminds me of Billups. He's not as good but would make a great consolation prize!

Jack will be a free agent, GS will be close to the luxtax next season, i doubt they can afford to keep him, get him! great backup PG.

I hope you all don't think I'm trolling in this thread, I only dropped by the Pistons page to read opinions on the Calderon for Prince deal but I happened to notice this thread as well.
Just thought I'd point out that GSW's new ownership group didn't draft Udoh (that draft happened prior to the NBA approving the team's sale) but they did fire Nellie as one of their first moves, he didn't retire.
Since the new ownership group has taken over they've made plenty of quality moves- Bogut for Monta, drafting Klay Thompson, signing Jack and Landry in free agency for example.
As to the OP's deal there's no way the W's would do it. Jack and Landry are far too important to the W's current success. Jack is GSW's Curry insurance policy at backup PG. Also, none of the players Detroit would trade provide anything the W's need.
