I figured I'd start this one..My Pistons app just said no Brandon Knight tonight..
Probably won't be watching with no Dre and no Knight. THis is the first of a home and home with IND.

Is Granger gonna play?

Either way, I expect a double-digit loss tonight.

Without Knight, I'm guessing the rotation will be:

Calderon / Bynum
Stuckey / English
Singler / Jerebko (should be Middleton)
Maxiell / CV
Monroe / Kravtsov

With the deadline behind I'm hoping to start seeing more of the kids (Less CV & Jmax).... also expect to see JJ resurface for the remainder of the year.

Seeing as all of our young players (that are healthy right now) are guards expect to still see the normal amount of Max and CV.

Is this the first game we've played without Knight, since drafting him?

Its going to be interesting to see how we fare without him. No offense to Knight, but I actually feel we might have a better chance to win tonight without him. Because no Knight means no rookie mistakes from the backcourt, which is crucial on the road. More veterans handling the ball and better decision making, better shot selection, etc, which is what you need to beat playoff teams on the road.

Its not Knights fault he's young and inexperienced, but the fact is you win road games in this league with veterans, not young players. So if there's a silver lining to him being out, it might be that we have a better chance to win, but winning in IND was going to tough with or without Knight.

Since they'll probably replace him with Stuckey I don't think the turnovers will be much of an improvement. Would rather have knight playing to see if he can cut down on his mistakes ,doubt we'll win this one anyway. On the bright side, with him out English should get some time.

I agree Stuckey makes as many dumb decisions and bad shots as Knight, but one thing Stuckey has always been good at is not turning it over.

It'll be nice to see English get some PT, and maybe even Middleton too. Even though they are young, they are mostly catch and shoot guys that aren't going to make many costly mistakes.

Knight hasn't been the one making the mistakes the past few games. The team is getting torched on defense.

Instead of starting Stuckey, I'd give Bynum the start at PG and move Calderon over to SG until Knight comes back. That seems to be our best backcourt to close games lately, might as well use it to start games too and not get behind early.

I was speaking in general on Knight. You generally don't win road games with young guards. The problems on defense lately are all from not having Drummond. When you remove the 5th best player in the league in defensive rating, there's going to be a huge dip in defense. We're just going to have to try and compensate with better offense until he comes back.

Paul George is dripping with potential. Indiana hit the jackpot with him.

Good to have Jose for this meeting with IND. Last time we played them was the night of the trade and hadn't gotten him yet. But he apparently has a history of success against them.

This game is already over and without Dre, I don't really care. Hopefully we get so blown out the young guys play and we get more Ping-Pong balls
