Vucevic is good, but I'll pass on trading Monroe...This draft is too weak to trade a talented piece like Monroe to move up...Monroe/Drummond have the potential to be best front-court in the league, lets keep those two together...

I'd rather trade for a versatile SF like Wilson Chandler instead of taking a chance on Tobais Harris...

It's a nice idea in theory but Vucevic can't play PF. I agree he is a defensive upgrade over Monroe but it's just not worth the trade.I don't think 3 is better than 7. I'd want Porter, Mohammed, or Okipdo. I think we could get one at 7.

I'd trade Monroe for a top 3 pick, but not to move up. My reasoning is that Drummond, Knight and Monroe are starters, and we need two more. We get one from the draft and one from free agency. If we trade Monroe and our pick for another (better) pick, we come up short a starter. If there were a franchise changing player, I would consider this, but since there is not, I'll pass.

I think Vucevic and Harris are a lot better than they're getting credit for in this thread so far.

Vucevic is basically the same age as Monroe, 7', 240, has range out to 20 feet, and is averaging:
12 points, 11 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.0 blocks per

Harris is a 20 year old SF (younger than both English and Middleton) who is on the cusp of breaking out. Since joining the Magic, he has averaged:
16.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1 steal, 1 block per while coming off the bench


Add in the fact that his trade guarantees us one of McLemore or Shabazz in the draft, instead of us hoping one falls, and this is a trade I would seriously consider.

this doesnt make us any better for next season. id rather try to get the nuggets to dump wilson chandler and roll with what we have and hope moose and drums workout

Who ever in the Magic organization that rejects a Vucevic for Monroe deal straight up would probably get fired...Vucevic isn't on the same level as Moose, come on BMP we both know that...
