Fire whoever writes the scouting reports

Post#1 » by wire28 » Mon Mar 11, 2013 6:44 am

@BrandonKnight07: It wasn't in the scouting reports that the clippers threw lobs lol

But good for him for having a sense of humor after twitter and the rest of the world turned him into a meme, again.

Yeah, this is why I like Brandon Knight. He's a competitor who's not in it to become a fan favorite. He's in it to compete and win basketball games. That's a true Detroit Piston. Laughing about it on Twitter is the best way to approach this. Hell, Kendrick Perkins deleted his after the Griffin slam.

Good response by Knight. Despite the numerous expected dumb responses on twitter, kid's actually getting a bit of support for contesting that dunk.

Knight crossed by Kyrie and now dunked on by DeAndre...depressing

Not any more depressing than watching 99% of the team stroll up and down the court and get dunked on, even if they didn't get on any poster.

It's a shame. The only guy who actually cares about defense is the one that gets embarrassed. That's why I love Knight though, no fear and nonstop heart and hustle. Now give him his starting PG spot back!

I mean yeah he got posterized in the worst way but the only way that happens is by contesting the play. Good for him for laughing at himself and actually trying to play D

And that dunk was nasty as hell. Good grief

After watching it 1000 times, he actually is doing all someone a guy his size can do. Pretty tough to stop a great lob to someone who is a foot taller and 100 pounds heavier.

Yeah, incredible dunk but it's not like Jordan dunked on a guy who was his size.

Greg Monroe might have gotten posterized worse.

That would require him being in position defensively. :-(

But yeah, good for Knight. He did what he shoulda done and I like the attitude. Even the best defensive bigmen in the history of the game have been posterized. It happens when you challenge shots. Sucks, but if the alternative is to get out of the guys way and give him a clear path, then I'll take the posterization. Least the kid has some balls and he's trying out there.

just watching one DJ mixtape, he dunked on Al Jeff, Bynum and Gasol at the same time, Bogut, Dirk, Faried, and some cat on the Kings who looked like a 7 footer whoever #10 was, Spencer Hawes maybe. also, Kemba and Will Barton were basically in the same spot as BK on the same play, and both of them b****ed out.

it was a nice dunk, but I think the ridicule BK has got for it is a little excessive. the Bynum/Gasol and Bogut dunks were more embarrassing imo.

props to Dre for having BKs back on twitter.

its pretty sad that its better not to try at all than to try and fail these days.
