As long as he keep dropping 19 and 9 on them I couldn't care less. Meanwhile Knight its still having a hard time getting more assists than TO.

Yes, because you need to drag Knight into this thread.

Yeah vege....you don't want anyone saying boo about Monroe -- yet you bash Knight when and wherever you can it seems.
Back on topic....JC tried going to the other team's lockerroom? Here's to hoping its a good offseason foreshadowing.

haha, that was good. Almost like he played an April Fool's prank on himself lol
btw, why isn't Jose getting more love from Pistons fans for his 3pt shooting?
He literally leads the league in 3FG%. Just that alone makes it attractive to resign him.
There were some fans that wanted to keep Gordon and 12 mil/yr salary just because of his 3 pt shooting. Jose is even better than Gordon and we can get him back at half the price, likely. I don't get the hate for him. Sure he's a liability on defense, but so was Gordon. Is he the best PG in the league? no, but thats no reason to hate him just because he;s not CP3. And the fact is he's the best we got right now. If/when we have a chance to get someone better, I'll understand wanting to dump him, but that player doesn't exist right now, and its not Knight. Could be Burke, but even then it wouldn't be a bad idea to have Calderon back for Burke to learn under for a year off the bench. And have that vet PG just in case Burke isnt ready

Yeah, it would be an awesome idea to have Calderon around to mentor Burke...
But since we don't have Burke maybe Calderon can mentor Knight instead?

Monroe is a borderline all star, knight is a borderline backup at best. That's the difference.

Sad is it is to say Jose is our best guard and it's not even close. People hate on him because they think one day Brandon is just going to magically get it.
I for one was against the Gordon trade because we lost some three point shooting but I am far, far, far, far, far, far more upset that we gave away a draft pick just to shed his salary (especially when we could have just amnestied him). If we don't end up amnestying CV then the Gordon trade becomes far beyond (Please Use More Appropriate Word).

I was all-aboard the Calderon bandwagon when the trade went down.
With that being said, unless he signs for 7 mil a year, I want no part of him.
Let him go back to Toronto..

His family moved back to Spain when the trade happened - so Calderon has no roots being seeded here at all. He's planning on exploring all options as a free-agent, I can't see him coming back here unless we offer a couple million more per year than his second highest offer. At the end of the season he's jetting off to Spain to be with his family, and then will stay there until FA opens up in July.

I hope he sign for a contender obviously not for Detroit..
