yes.

A lot of mixed info here.

1) The next coach hire is all Dumars' choice
2) Gores is wanting to "put his stamp" on the hire
3) Now Phil Jackson is going to be an adviser on the process (which seems odd, because Jackson has been linked with Toronto recently in a managerial role)

It sure seems as though Gores' trust is not with Dumars.

Maybe this is Gores' way to pushing Dumars out.

If nothing else it speaks volumes about Gores' confidence in Dumars' decision making. Of course, it also seems to suggest that Gores isn't at all interested in firing Dumars, either. I'm confused.

Why wouldn't Joe resign if he's being undercut like this.

Also if Phil is advising Gores - what does that mean for the attempts of the Raptors and other from hiring him to their front office? Seems like it could be a huge conflict of interest there.

Some team have a president of Basketball OPs and a GM. We should be one of those teams

Mixed signals for sure and with Fosters claim that big things are happening, I don't know what to think.
