maybe we could package the 2 seconds and trade up into the first round to get him.
8th is too high to take him imo

I agree. And in a draft where supposedly everyone is trying to trade their first round picks, it's not all that unlikely that we could at least make a trade like that. Definitely don't wanna take him with the #8 pick though. And if Shabazz is available at #8, I'd still rather have him.

I like him too but i'm not sure if a first round pick is worth taking Hardaway. I feel we have alot of back-up 2/3s in Middlteon, Singler, Jerebko, Knight, and English. I'd rather get Withey in all honesty. If we walk away with Withey and Mohuammed, i'd be a happy happy happy man.

If we draft Bennett first, then trading back into the first round with our 2 second round picks should be doable, if we're targeting a particular SG. Hardaway and couple others are likely targets. Teams are trying to trade out of the first round, but the strength of this draft is the SG's and even some PG's (Schroeder?, maybe even MCW if he drops a bit, which is possible I suppose).

A draft of Bennett and a SG or a PG like those guys listed could be pretty optimal for us. Bennett might prove to be the best player in his draft class, and I'm a big supporter of getting after MCW.

If we draft Bennett, then adding a Withey as the 4th big man in the rotation does make a lot of sense to me. Or Dieng. The Pistons would need more physicality and shot blocking to back up Drummond.

I expect him to go in the late first, and yeah I would be all for trying to grab a low 1st to get him.

If somehow we traded our 2nd and got up into the late first round with a second pick, I think Hardaway would be a great pick.

If we can trade back up into the 1st somehow, him and Crabbe need to be targets -- if we didn't pick a SG in the lottery.
