Can we help facilitate Dwight to GS?

We could trade them Jerebko for Bogut, Jefferson, and either Thompson or Barnes.

Saves them a TON of cap space and gets them DWIGHT (potentially).

We take on a boatload of salary, but will get a starting wing for the trouble....

They build around Curry/Dwight/Lee

I posted a Knight and 20 million in raw cap space for Jefferson, Biedrins and Barnes a week or so ago and GSW fans were receptive to it which means it was heavily in their favor they are the biggest homers ever in this boards.

A core of Shabazz/Barnes/Monroe/Drummond and a crapload of cap space next season could win multiple championships in the future depending on their development.

PG is the most stacked position in the league so we would easily add an All Star caliber PG whenever that team is ready to compete.

I like it, Barnes looks like an he could be an allstar, and it gets Joe out of making any decisions during this terrible FA year.

I've gotta say that this is the first time I liked one of your proposals. I am unsure if GS would want to give up Barnes but I like this trade for both teams. Pistons spend their cap space on garbage contracts like Jefferson's and Biedrins' for one season. They can be players in FA the year after.

However, the reality is that I am unsure if Joe can sit back for one more year. It may be playoffs or bust (as in ..FIRED!!!) for him.

Dwight to GS is a pipe dream, they need to drop Jefferson, Beidrins & Rush, which would be very hard to do, unless:

Pistons in- Thompson, Barnes, Jefferson, Beidrins, Rush

GSW in- Knight

GSW would free up enough room to sign Dwight (and be able to dangle a Bougut for Josh Smith S&T)

Dwight/Lee/Smith/Curry/Knight

Pistons could take McCollum or MCW and have a young core of Drummond/Monroe/Barnes/Thompson/Rookie PG

I don't think just Barnes is worth $20 million between Jefferson & Beidrins and crushing this years cap flexibility, however flipping Knight for Thompson & Barnes would be worth it in my opinion.

Uh, KCP/Barnes/Monroe/Drummond :-)

Shamu plays the same position as Barnes...

if we could somehow get Barnes without giving up Drummond or Monroe I would be all over that.

I'm nearly convinced Barnes is going to be an All Star.

Shabazz is a SG Barnes a SF how come they play the same position? Just because Shabazz played SF at college doesn't mean he will be a SF in the NBA

That's not true. If they dump Biedrins and Jefferson using Barnes all they need to do is trade Bogut and legit defensive anchors like Bogut are easy to trade even if he has health issues. The Lakers would probably take him in a sign and trade for Howard if needed.

They can't dump Rush, he would be their starter SF. Curry/Thompson/Rush/Lee/Howard. They'd have a hard time retaining Jack and Landry, So I have no idea why they would do it. Would pretty much mean Barnes/Bogut/Landry/Jack for Howard.

Their payroll would be under control tho. So the prize would be Howard and drop out of the LT which may not be that bad.

I'd do Barnes, Jefferson, Beidrins, Rush for Singler, Middleton, English, #38

Pistons get the SF of the future and Jefferson/Beidrins/Rush are all expiring contracts while Golden State frees up all the space they'd need.

I guess we can agree to disagree. At best, he is a tweener, but IMHO, he's not athletic enough to guard a 2 in the NBA.

I'm sure the Lakers would take Bogut and Jefferson in a sign and trade rather than lose Howard for nothing. I can't see GSW giving up Barnes. Dealing with the Pistons doesn't make much sense.

Bogut is totally expendable if the get Howard, but I wonder if the Warriors really want Howard. I think it was Howard saying he wanted the Warriors. And is Howard really that much of an upgrade that they would part with Thompson? Certainly not Barnes who has All Star potential. But I'd be happy to sit on Jefferson's contract for a year to get Thompson.

You guys have me super confused with this Shamu crap, I have no clue whos nick name that is or if that means something else. Whatever it is its ridiculous.

Re Shabazz, he is a 2 that can play some time at the 3, as far as his athleticism he showed at the combine he is athletic enough to cover 2's. Will he put the effort in? Thats another story.

Could we trade Knight and cap space for Barnes and crap ......

Then trade

Stuckey Jerebko and crap plus #8 to NO for Gordon and Vasquez with some of NO later picks and some of our ater picks going to GS

Then we are

Vasquez
Gordon
Barnes
Monroe
Drummond

Thats a better core than 90% of these offseason plans.

Super young with solid three point shooting around the bigs and a point guard that can distribute. Only downside (and yes it is big) is Gordons health

Yeah, if only there were a draft prospect around where the Pistons are picking whose name contained Sha and Mu... It makes no sense.

We've been on this site for how long? and you still haven't grasped the concept of your trade ideas being absolutely ridiculous?

Jerebko for 2 of their starters? so whos LA going to get?
