I don't care if you can't be fired until you're hired. There are tons of better candidates out there, unproven assistants, hell, hot dog vendors. I would've been happy with Hollins, Obradovic, Budenholzer, Shaw, McMillan, you name it...but Maurice Cheeks? MAURICE CHEEKS? I normally consider myself to be a rational longview type of guy, but if Mo Cheeks gets the job, that will be the final nail in Joe Dumars' coffin. Maybe not immediately, but within a year or 3.

Well, My patience with wannabe lame head coaches was over during the Michael Curry era.

2 more years of this **** and once again another coach fired in 2 years and then guess what? Again no decent head coach will want to go to Detroit.

The guy haven't been hired yet and I got a cute signature for him already.

Go google an interview of his as a coach. His personality will be a breath of fresh air for the players after having the robot midget as their coach last season.

I think he's a good fit with our franchise center too.

Seriously, I agree, would rather have Shaw. But we are not the only ones that will be going after him.

I'm confused why you want another guy with no head coaching experience. Curry and Q were brutal. This lockerroom is a bigger mess than nikki minaj's face. We need a guy who will come in and command respect while holding players accountable. I don't see that with Shaw. Sorry. I'm also not willing to have him prove me wrong either. Not worth the risk!
