Sleeper SGs

Ok, we know we need a SG, probably our top priority. It would be nice to get Oladipo or McLemore, and McLemore might actually slip to us, but I doubt it. And we might use #8 for MCW or Burke, instead of KCP or McCollum, both of who I think would be great. If that's what we do, then I think it might be worth getting a second first rounder and taking a swing on one of these guys:
Sergey Karasev - already got a promise, shut down his workouts
Reggie Bullock - shooter who can play 2 or 3
Glen Rice Jr. - dominated D league last year
Allen Crabbe - big wing w/ great jump shot
Ricardo Ledo - one of the highest ceilings in the draft
Tim Hardaway Jr. - NBA ready wing who can both shoot and defend
If we're swinging for the fences, I think we should get an extra pick and get Ledo.

All these guys should be available at 20+, so we shouldn't have to do much to get one of these picks.

I like Crabbe a lot. He's very similar to KCP, but he isn't getting quite the hype.
As a UM fan, I can say that I don't really want THJr. He's maddeningly inconsistent and takes very difficult shots far too often.
Ledo is a total unknown, but if we can nab him without giving up much (or if he falls to us), then we might as well.
Bullock is okay, not a great ceiling TBH but he can shoot.
Glen Rice Jr. strikes me as being similar to Shamu, but I can't really tell much. He did play in the "no defense" D-League, so I'm skeptical.

I like Rice Jr but I'm not sold on spending a first rounder on one of these guys. I would be happy if one fell to the second round. I see alot of Euros taken late first who can be stashed in Europe in the bottom 10. This is all cause of the weak draft.

I don't think we'll be picking any 2nd rounders in this draft...

I know we're on the brink of that place where you no longer want to trade vets for draft picks, but I'd be ecstatic if we could trade Stuckey for high-teens or low-twenties draft pick. Just to get out of the Stuckey era.

Bullock would be a great fit on this team.
If Ledos there at #37 and we dont take him i'll be pi**ed.
Dont know much about Karasev, but from highlights and scouting reports he looks like a decent fit. he looked a little slow in his highlights and im always leery of Euros though.
Crabbes a guy I wouldnt mind having, but not above Bullock or Ledo.
I dont know a whole lot about Rice, but ive heard he has attitude and motor issues. since he probably doesnt have the upside Ledo does, id have to pass on him.
Timmys not a guy I want on the team, he's too inconsistent and when his shot isnt falling hes pretty much useless.

I've been wrong with this type of guy before, but Bullock will be in the NBA for a while. He's the kind of guy that will either get drafted into to the right situation, or end up on the Spurs in three years.

I'd just be happy if they traded Stuckey. He actually might fetch a pick in the 20's in this draft.

Wasn't it Glenn Rice Jr. who played in the D-League instead of going to College. Anyways, he is a sleeper fo sho.

Michael Snaer is another SG I like in this draft. I dont see him getting much love, but I think hes going to be a solid 3 and D guy in the league. he reminds me of Wes Matthews a little bit.
