Mentioned on the trade board.

I like it. The Wiz pick is likely to be at least #8 in a much better draft. Would likely keep our pick higher as well. We aren't able to contend yet. It's worth waiting a year to get a much better pick.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Yes and it is a stupid one. The Wizards could easily make the playoffs next year with adding two picks in this years draft plus potential FA signings. Stupid thought.

That's as bad of an idea as Laimbeer as head coach.

Barring injuries, the Wizards are very likely to be a playoff team next season. :roll:
