I've gained a lot more respect for Dumars after taking KCP. He would have had so much leeway if he had taken Burke. Fans would have accepted any slow start because of the local ties. Joe stuck his neck out and took BPA

Can you confirm that he hasn't talked to or invited any undrafted guys to Summer league?

The only trade worth making in this draft would of been for Ben McLemore but Joe D. Picked a less athletic version of him in KCP. Free agency hasn't even started yet, have a little patience.

"working the phones" and making trades for the sake of making trades are two entirely different things.
I feel like Detroit basically got two lottery picks, with Mitchell anyways. I'm happy with the turn out. If Mitch came out after his rookie season, he likely would have been a lottery pick.

They're a wash athletically. McLemore can jump higher, KCP is a faster sprinter.
