Floor: Courtney Lee
Tony Mitchell
Ceeling: Antonio McDyess (yes, I am serious)
Floor: D-Leauge Player

Kentavious Caudwell-Pope
Ceiling: Richard Hamilton meets Ben Gordon
Floor: Terrence Ross meets Kerry Kittles
(The reason I say rip is because their body movements/fluidity and open court speed are very similar and both can shoot off screens. The reason I say BG is because his pull-up is reminiscent of BG's)
Tony Mitchell
Celling: Antonio McDyess
Floor: D-League Player

If Mitchell becomes half of what McDyess could have been, that'd be amazing.

KCP
Ceiling: Jason Richardson
Floor: Terrence Ross
Mitchell
Ceiling: Tyrus Thomas
Floor: Stromile Swift
Siva
Ceiling: Will Bynum
Floor: Johnny Flynn
If Mitchell had Dyess potential hed be the #1 pick in the draft and fans here wouldve been clamoring for him long before we drafted him. These are Pistons colored blinders

God. I hope Mitchell doesn't turn into Stromile but that's a pretty spot on comparison.

yes he has Dyess (before injury) potential . athleticism+rebounding+ shooting ability
but i know , there is only %10 chance because of his motor and work ethic.

Exactly this is his potential not his most likely projection. If Tony Mitchell was likely to become Dyess he'd be the 1st overall pic. Its possible just not likely.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
Ceiling: Rip Hamilton without the ego
Floor: Danny Green
Tony Mitchell
Ceiling: Shawn Marion
Floor: Stromile Swift
Peyton Siva
Ceiling: Mike Conley
Floor: DJ Augustin
Quick question, not trying to sound mean, what is the real difference between Trey Burke and Jameer Nelson? Burke looked like a carbon copy of Nelson. They both had a great college career (Nelson won player of the year). Nelson was stable and a one time all-star, but not really spectacular. How do you think Burke is do in the pros?

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope's ball handling is terrible like danny green. but he can creat his shoot unlike green.

Nelson might be Burke's ceiling
DJ Augustine might be Burke's floor

Seriously? If so, that sucks. I was hoping he could develop some one-on-one ability. I did see him dribble well enough do clear space for pull-up jumpers (off picks or with step-back move). So, as it is, Knight and Stuckey are our only players that can face up and get to the hole, one-on-one (and they are so-so at it).
Our offensive catalysts will be Monroe's post up, Drummond (hopefully even better) on the pick and roll, and . . . we need something better than Knight/Stuckey driving to the hole. I get that KCP's shooting (and fast break contributions) will help--but we will have the same half-court offensive sets next year, right? Or can KCP be the offensive catalyst on some plays--with the ball in his hands, will he make anything happen besides pull-up jumpers? I'm hoping he can get to the hole, as Detroit needs it badly.
Some have mentioned KCP as a good defender. Will he be any better than Stuckey? KCP's extra inch or so will help in some match-ups, I suppose.

KCP has Rip Hamilton handles and, even though he has the athleticism to get to the rim, he chooses not to.

KCP isn't a guy who will live off the mid-range like Rip. Rip hasn't a good distance shooter until his 7th or 8th year in the league. KCP is a guy who lives by the 3 point shot right now, he can hit the midrange, and he has the speed and athleticism to get into the lane. I don't believe the lane was open to him often at Georgia- him being the 1 man to watch on that team, I think things will be different for him in the NBA where he won't be his entire team's offensive weapon.

I heard last night that KCP's ceiling is close to Tracy McGrady's...If thats true, we got a stud at 8 in a weak draft...

no, he is great in that situations.he can creat his shoot. I am trying to say that he can not go to rim, if he dribble more than 3 times, he has to pull up because of his handling
