Teams with at least $12 million in capspace
Here's the list of teams with at least $11 million in capspace starting tomorrow.
1. Atlanta Hawks - $11.1 million after Jeff Teague's and Josh SMith's cap holds
2. Charlotte Bobcats - $16 million
3. Cleveland Cavaliers - $19 million (or $23 million if the renounce Mo Speights)
4. Dallas - $18.0 million (if they let OJ Mayo walk away)
5. Detroit - $20 million (if they renounce Calderon, Maggette, Bynum, and Maxiell) or $28.5 if they amnestied CV
6. Houston Rockets - $16 million or $19.6 if they can move Thomas Robinson
7. Milwaukee Bucks - $ 20 million if they let Jennings, Reddick, and Ellis all leave but likely much less.
8. New Orleans Pelicans - $12 million
9. Philly Sixers - $18 million if they renounce Bynum and all FAs
10. Portland TrailBlazers - $11.8
11. Utah Jazz - $27 million renouncing all FAs Jefferson Millsap Williams and others
That puts 11 teams possibly having enough capspace to land a big FA but many of those teams will never see that much caproom as they want to keep some of their own FAs.
Also, a few of those teams such as Charlotte, Philly, and Utah might be tanking but its hard to say for certain until we hear which FA's they're talking to.

If you're Charlotte, is it really considered "tanking"?

Re: Teams with at least $12 million in capspace
Bobcats will apparently use their significant capspace on Al Jefferson while Portland is going after Splitter and the Pelicans going after Evans.
The Bucks pondering giving Jeff Teague a big contract offer? May prefer him over Jennings?
Seems like a bunch of action is waiting on Dwight to make his decision and then dominos will start falling.

Can Cleveland spend that money on a big name long term contract and have room for a LeBron max offer next year?

Lebron's Max would be nearly $20 million...
Cavs have only $20 to $30 million guaranteed for 2014 depending on who's options they pick up so it would be tough for them to spend $10+ million this year and still have max money for Lebron next.

LBJ is set up to re-tick off Cleveland when he stays in Miami and they miss out on a couple of seasons worth of FAs just to reserve enough room for the pipe dream.

Yeah, I think the Cavs won't be huge spenders this offseason, but you could see them in the mix for some guys.
Dwight Howard will be the first signing of the offseason, though. Guys like Smoove and Iggy won't fully know what their options look like until they know who misses out on Dwight.

-Cavs are still hopelessly holding out for a slim chance that LeBron leaves Miami after winning back-to-back titles and a metric ton of MVP awards.
Even if Clevaland has a more promising roster come next summer, I don't see LeBron leaving Miami; especially if they three-peat. It's a overall better place to live, Miami will pay him more than anyone (which they definitely will), and Pat Riley always seems to find a way to make great things happen for that team.
Opposed to Douche Gilbert, one of, it not THE most obnoxious owner in the league.
-second point, Dwight said he will announce who he's signing with on July 10th. So, there will be ten days of silence, allegedly.

I can't see other free agents waiting until the 10th to make their decisions. No way.

Smith will, if it means an extra 3-5 million per season (I have no idea what Joe wants to offer him).
Players will agree quickly if they like what they get. But, if they're in high demand and assume a better payday is coming, they're better off being patient.

Re: Teams with at least $12 million in capspace
Sacramento doesn't have any capspace until they either renounce Evans or he signs with a different team and they don't match... So if they do decide to let Evans walk they have about $12 million in capspace. John Salmons could potentially be amnestied by them though so if that happens Sacramento could have another $7.5 million to work with which would put them at nearly $20 million.

damn, i doubt they match tyreke so this is actually fairly likely. so basically its us, denver and either n.o or sac(whichever doesnt end up with tyreke) who are most likely to land iggy. maybe dwight howard teams like dal, hou, and atl are a chance but im fairly confident we are going to pretty hard for him.

Miss out on a couple of seasons worth of FAs? 2014 is only next year. Besides who do you suggest they waste their cap space on?

Charlotte is now off the list after giving Al Jefferson $41 mil over 3 years.

Utah has to be down to less than 10M taking on Richard Jefferson and Beans from Golden State.

Pelicans should be off as well with the Tyreke signing, unless that's factored in along with the Vasquez and other guy three way trade.

Re: Teams with at least $12 million in capspace
So if Houston gets Dwight, Bucks sign Jennings, this list starts to trim a bit. This gives us leverage!
