If Rajon Rondo becomes available, expect the #Pistons to be among the first in line

I think it only makes sense if A) We sign Josh Smith, B) Don't resign Jose Calderon, and C) We deal for Rondo with a package headlined by Monroe. If this is true, the Josh Smith at 12:01am makes total sense by Joe D.

I don't like it. I don't trust him in our lockerroom. Doc and KG could rein him in with the Celtics, but when he'd THE star player without and hall of fame veteran or coach with rings he'd have respect for - I just think he'll be a terror to deal with.

don't know how I'd feel about giving up Monroe, though rondo and smith would be beastly along with drummond and KCP

Would be a huge fan. Would trade both Knight/Monroe to make it happen. Get another shooter on the opposite wing of KCP and Detroits pick and roll would be incredibly tough to stop. Imagine Rondo, Drummond, and Smith running pick and rolls with wing spacing.

I would love to acquire Rondo, not at the expense of Knight or Monroe though...

While we don't have the veterans. Do you think Mo could handle him?

I'd take Rondo Green for BK Monroe.....
They have G.Wallace now might be inclined to do that move.

Doc couldn't even handle him really. So I doubt Mo can. He's the definition of a diva. He's a good player, don't get me wrong, but he is overly cocky...a better version of Mario Chalmers. Not in terms of skill, but in terms of spoiled attitude. You put Brandon Knight or Stuckey with 3 HOFers in the beginning of their career and they would be all stars by year 4 as well IMO.

With Rondo and Smith we could be the worst shooting team in the league by a country mile. Would teams even try to step outside the paint? And the lockerroom issues potentially... I don't like it

Are you serious? You wouldn't give up Knight for Rondo? I like BK, but that's nuts.

Could you imagine if this team got Green, Smith, Drummond catching oops??

Could Rondo,KGP,Green,Smith,Drummond work? Of bring Green off the bench and to to acquire a SF shooter or a SG with height

No thanks. We aren't that in need of a PG with that big of a risk.

A line up of Rondo KCP Green Smith Drummond would be killer on defense. But like stated above horrible shooting. And the question of the ACL will he still be the same player he was before. His Divaness could be ironed out with Rosco on the coaching staff :)

Albeit recovering from injury, Rajon Rondo is a NBA champion & 4x all-star. The Pistons would have to get rid of both Greg Monroe & Brandon Knight for Rondo alone, no Jeff Green about it. At least that's the only way I'd see Danny Ainge even considering it

No chance. Mo would be seen by Rondo as a chump that the Pistons had to settle for because nobody else wanted to come here.

Yeah, I am at a total loss as to why Pistons fans would want us to acquire both.
