I'm just curious to see if any body likes this a**hole? His tweets are always the last to come in and just rides the coat tails of all the other REAL journalist that have creditable sources. He's up there with Rob Parker bad!

Goodwill and Ellis are both terrible. And, the ESPN and Sporstnation Pistons blogs (DetroitBadBoys and PistonPowered) are even worse.

Neither Goodwill nor Ellis ever break Pistons news- Ford, Wojo and Stein are usually the first to know and Goodwill/Ellis just "breaks" it after the fact. They seem like they get their news from Ford/Wojo/Stein too.

Goodwill, Ellis are both jokes. I barely ever read anything they write.

They cover sports for the lay fan, not message board nutters.

Yeah, that's annoying. But, I don't argue with him, so I can't say I have much of an opinion formed on him.

His "rumors" almost always pan out to nothing.

Unfollowed both Ellis and VG on twitter a year ago. His non-sports interjections ranged from mildly annoying to "who cares shut up shut up shut up" annoying.

Now, I will still read the occasional DetNews propaganda article that VG puts out.
His writing and coverage of the Pistons have about as much impact as crumpled loose leaf.

I don't care for someone who every over tweet is something about racism. If you are a professional and watched what happend to Parker you'd think you'd watch what you say a little bit more.
