IGGY (Priority #1 - but seems 50/50 at-best)
Aminu
Dorrell Wright
AK47
Brewer
Delfino
Matt Barnes
Babbitt
James Johnson
Chris Copeland
-----------------------------------------------------------

Only the top few off that list are going to be better than Singler/Middleton.... :-?

That list gets ugly quick. Come on Iggy!

It gets much uglier. I only listed the guys I'd even half-heatedly want us to show interest in....

Who are the SFs that have been snapped up while Joe's been eating donuts?

Budinger, Korver, and Webster are the only ones of note I believe. And even those guys aren't much more than specialist types.

Yikes... If Iggy is off the boards, there's no real reason not to just let Singler and Middleton play to be honest...

This.
In the new CBA, how much cap room does Detroit have to use up?

The list is depressing to say the least. Especially when the only good name on that list is on the decline.

This is why the Pistons need to up the offer for Gay and get our SF position set that way.

We really shouldn't go after Iggy, and agreed, the rest are crap. Need to be exploring the trade market a bit more since FA will not get us a long term solution at SF.

Dorrell Wright at a reasonable deal wouldn't be a bad pickup at all. 3 yrs, 16-18 mil for a proven player sounds better to me than starting Middleton or Singler

Dumars? Trade?? Hahaha, good one.....

Dorell Wright is rumored to be close to going to OKC.
AK47 sounds to be a lock for Minnesota or Brooklyn.

Hearing nothing on the others.

Iggy notes: Now that the Sacto/NO/Port 3-way deal is done, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Sacto re-offer Iggy:

Vasquez / Thomas
McLemore / Thornton
IGGY
Thompson / Patterson
Cousins

i 'd sign BOTH Wright and Aminu, Wright as 3pt shooting SF to space the floor, Aminu for his upside - even both at 5-6 mil a year for 3 years would probably only cost 2/3 what Iggy would cost, Singler and Middleton can back up KCP

Sign Teague for 4/42

Teague/Knight
KPC/Singler/Middleton
Wright/Aminu
Monroe/Jonas/Mitchell
Dre/Slava

still got Stuckey and Charlies contracts for trade purposes

Just saw this. Obviously not an announcement or anything concrete, but it does make sense that Iggy would want to play in GS rather than for us.
'ESPNSteinLine Marc Stein, RT @sam_amick: Regarding Iguodala situation, he wants to play for Warriors & already had deep talks to go there.'

That's odd. The weather is way nicer in Michigan than California.

Meanwhile josh smith is almost certainly waiting to go to Houston. What is Dumars waiting for exactly?

Iguodala's out.

He was the only one of the really major free agents I had all that much interest in at the right price, but if he's drawing looks from a better situation we may as well forget about it.

The Pistons are going to strike out. Brace yourself for the backlash.

Were gonna have to acquire talent via trade I suppose. No one wants to come to Detroit at a reasonable price.

In the new CBA, how much cap room does Detroit have to use up?

The 'payroll' floor is 90% of 'salary' cap but...

We do not have to spend that money on salary we can spend the difference at end of season by dividing it up to players on the team instead.

Ohh I see. I would just not sign anyone the way things are going and try to facilitate some trades.
