If all else failes... Take a flyer on Andrew Bynum?

Thoughts? I know he doesn't fit but healthy he could do great things for us and it opens the door for us to trade.. or to keep all three bigs and have 96 minutes of great big man play for Dre, Bynum, Moose.
Of course if he's not healthy than we're screwed.
Perhaps a 3 year deal that isn't fully guaranteed.

I'd do it if he wasn't so cancerous.

We'd have 3 bigs, none of which is a power forward by trade and two of which (Drummond/Bynum) all but certainly can't play extended minutes together.
I realize we're at the point of desperation but that's no reason to do something silly.

No. Too risky and Bynum doesn't fill a need.

I would rather take Oden, may be cheaper too.

I'm a big Bynum fan. If we traded Monroe for Rondo and couldnt get Smith, I would do this. Bynum+Drummond would really gives us twin towers, that both play both ends too. Drummond is athetic enough to guard 4s too, so it wouldn't be a problem.
He would have to check out health wise though, as would Rondo, which makes it a pretty gamble with two players coming off major issues. I'd do it though if everything checked out.
If we keep Monroe though, using all of our money on Bynum makes no sense at all when we have so many other needs.

Man, I've been saying we should sign Bynum for a while...A 3-headed monster of Monroe/Drummond/Bynum would be lethal...In addition, we get a nice trade chip if Bynum plays well...

He has said he will not work out with teams before he signs. So the dude probably isn't even healthy yet and is looking to suck a sucker team in anyways.

No. We have Monroe and Drummond. No reason to force one of them to the bench. I'd much rather sign a backup PF/C like Dalembert, Landry, etc. than pay Bynum big money to be a distraction, injured or both.

I figure Dallas will get Bynum now that they've been eliminated from Howard sweepstakes.

Absolutely not. Bynum is the biggest cancer in the league plus he would be taking time away from Dre and would be a bad influence on him. NO NO NO.
