Jose Calderon has agreed to a four year deal with Dallas, agent Mark Bartelstein says.

I figure that since he was a player that left us, he could get his own discussion thread. Dallas isn't a contender as currently built right now, so Calderon is probably heading there for non-basketball reasons.

Well, atleast BK gets another chance at the point.

Hmmmm...well....That's interesting.

Good. He's not a bad player, but not one that makes any sense on our roster.

Even though I'm sure everyone is worried about Dumars lack of activity, this is one move I am OK with. Calderon was standing in Knight's way and I am keen to see what Cheeks can do with him next season before we throw in the towel on his PG career.

That's nearly the same money Mayo signed for.

Now, I'm a bit frustrated.

Failed to sign Iggy, re-sign Calderon, now I'm just expecting the Josh Smith S&T to Houston.

Things can develop mid-season for trades, but FA is looking DRY.

I wouldn't say I'm happy to see him go, but I'm perfectly ok with it.

I like Jose, but don't think he was the best fit for us.

Calderon deserves better than this incarnation of the Pistons. He's the closest thing to Steve Nash in the league and Dirk should be thrilled with this signing.
