Ok. So now who are we going to get to play SF?

14mil a year is what a few of us were predicting yesterday. I'm down with this. If he can't play SF then trade him. Monroe and Dre shouldn't be touched.

Welcome Motown Smooove!

Sounds really simple when you put it like that. But I seem to remember us having difficulty dumping bad contracts in the past....

RIP
BG
Maxiell
CharlieV
....

But this is never going to happen with JSmoove

We are all going to hate this by January. Hopefully I'm completely wrong though.

I stand by my prediction.

Our most successful lineup statistically in terms of +/- will not feature Josh Smith.

CV and BG dropped off the face of the earth. That's why they became bad contracts. I don't think Smith will do that. Even if he struggles at SF there will be teams who will think he can be a good PF for them and will take him. Right now I'm just excited about our defensive potential.

Lack of direction being shown by the Pistons. What exactly does this move accomplish for them?

I'll join you. I didn't want him but considering the possibilities he was by far the best we could've done.

Now we need a PG capable of throw lobs to Drummond and Smith.
