Pretty sure he has it locked down. Might still be enough time for Josh Smith to ask for it, but I doubt it. My guess is Smith takes either number 6 (my first guess) or 8.

If Smith wants it I bet he gets it. Since neither are technically signed yet neither of them "owns" that number.

Maybe, if he wants it bad enough. KCP is so laid back, I can't see him making an issue about which number he wears. Joe should gift KCP #4.

Is Torii Hunter immature for getting his number from Porcello? Of course not.
You guys make a big deal out of anything, and if josh wants 5 then rookie has to give it up, im sure KCP seeing Josh Smith play ball right around the corner his whole life will understand.
He could also do some variation of #5 such as 23

Jersey number doesnt matter to me but smith being on a new team maybe he wants a new number, if not then kcp can change his its not that big of a deal.

Yep was surprised to come across his Twitter page (or I assume it's a page for his brand judging by the posts) and see him decked out in the #6 Pistons jersey. Looks good.
