I would do it, raptors might do it but there is no way the lakers do it. I don't think they want to get rid of nash.

Rudy Gay is another slasher with an unreliable shot.
With Smith in the fold I have no idea why we're even discussing him.

Can you please rename this thread "Piston Pete's Gay Threeway" ??
The deal is fine for us, but I don't know about Gay's three point shooting. Seems like our prerequisite now.

I wouldn't mind getting Gay but I think it would probably involve dealing Monroe somewhere so our 3/4/5 positions don't get backlogged. I guess if Mo really has some discipline and organization he can do it something like this:
Gay 36/Smoove 12
Smoove 24/Moose 24
AD 36/Moose 12
It would be very difficult to keep everyone satisfied with time and i don't know how Moose would feel coming off the bench but I guess it could work.
side note, can anyone think of a trade that include Monroe being traded for a good young SG?

yes i apologize, but if i'm getting another wing i'd rather it be someone who can shoot 3 balls

FTR, Gay is a career 34% 3-point shooter.
And he actually shot higher %'s early in his career when he shot them more often.
