Ho deciso di diventare un giocatore dei Detroit Pistons. Penso che possa essere il posto giusto per permettermi di fare un ulteriore salto di qualità nella mia carriera e per realizzare il sogno di una vita. Sono molto eccitato all'idea di unirmi al gruppo dei giocatori di Detroit. Voglio ringraziare la mia famiglia, il Presidente Toti, tutta la Virtus Roma e con lei i suoi tifosi per il loro continuo supporto e augurare alla Virtus il meglio per il futuro.

I've decided to join the Detroit Pistons, i believe it should be the right place to improve my career and realize a dream of life. ya sorry for the missing details, he's a SF from italy, MVP of the italian league. You can find more information via Celtics board where this guy he's been discussed on a lot. He's probably the best SF profile behind danilo gallinari, really good shooter, aggressive, very long and still young, so sky's the limit...

Well we needed shooting, so he gives us shooting and more size. I like it.

Datome's contract = guaranteed?

Not sure what signing him means for Singler and Middleton. Maybe a deal is on the horizon.

If he has size, can shoot, and play defense, I'll take him. I think giving that big of a two year means he plays. Hopefully Joe D has another trade in mind.

This might be one of those times where we'd be better waiting for all the details to come in.

A two year contract following the signing of Josh Smith would indicate serious and severe competition for PT for Singler and Middleton. I would now assume that Singler and Middleton (at least one of them) will be trade bait. Both of these guys are players I like a lot, so I'm not sure what I'd like to see happen. But, when it comes down to it, if the Pistons are upgrading our talent base, then so be it.
