Two trade ideas to cap off offseason

This is my first shot at trade ideas, so don’t be too harsh guys.

Pistons trade: Middleton, future first
Hawks trade: Jenkins
Gives us a true threat from three point range. Can fight KCP and Stuckey (unfortunately) for starting spot.

Pistons trade: Singler, Kravstov, 2014 second
Grizzlies trade: Koufos
Gets us a good backup C – Cheap and should crack rotation, especially if Drummond doesn’t start the season with a ton of minutes. Good player for Drummond to match up with in practice too.

Fair trades?

If our young guns pan out our core could potentially be Monroe, Smith, Drummond, Knight, Jenkins, KCP, and Koufos. All young and have alotta potential.

I like Mitchell and Siva, but I'm not totally sold on them.

Lemme know what you guys think!

Rather just do Jerebko for Koufos.

And you're actually under the impression Memphis would do that?

I would do the Koufos trade.

No way I would ever consider relinquishing a first round pick for a guy like Jenkins. He's roster filler, not a player who moves the needle for a team.

I agree with you about dealing the pick but i'd just pass on both altogether. Neither has major impact so i'll pass.

Thanks for the input guys. I just think Jenkins is a really good fit because of his shooting. The man has a nasty stroke. I guess that is a lot to give up for him though.

I don't hate the first given that Jenkins seems to have had a solid rookie year. But considering we don't project to be much better than the 8th seed the next couple of years, we can't be giving up 1sts for guys who are at best well below average starters. Better to take the gamble on the late lotto, mid first type pick we'll have.
.
On the other trade, Memphis deletes the email, throws computer into the river.
