good write up

Knight might think the Pistons are pushing him out the door. But if he’s smart, he’ll appreciate the challenge facing him with a steadily changing Pistons’ roster. If he’s a competitor, Knight will use the shifting currents as motivation to push himself harder.

It doesn’t help Knight’s development as a NBA-quality point guard if he honestly believes there’s limitless time on that clock. He’ll get every opportunity to prove that he’s ready to assume the leadership responsibilities that come with the title of point guard.

Of course the Pistons want Knight to succeed. His progression was a principal reason why they hired ex-point guard Maurice Cheeks as their newest head coach. It also factored into bringing back Billups. He insisted he didn’t come back to serve as a coach/mentor to Knight, but that is certainly part of his responsibilities. He can serve as that mature voice and steadying hand who endured more than his share of doubts through Billups’ many NBA career detours.

Seeing BK's path to the nba, it has been nothing but a up hill battle that he's conquered. We have ppl to drive BK now more than ever. We've built a hill for him to climb.

Definitely will be rooting for him. I don't get the hate from other people either. Yes he can't pass but give the guy a chance since there was no one to teach or mentor him how to be a pass first point guard. Would you hate a kid who can't read because there was no one to teach him how to?

Difference is he's been playing since he was a little kid. It's more like, would you be mad at him if he can't do calculus 5 because there was no professor to teach him. But he can do Calc 1-4 fine. So I wouldn't compare it to reading.

he needs the game to slow down for him, so Billips and Cheeks will be able to help him in a big way regarding that.
He's in the best position he's been in since joining the team. I love his heart and his attitude, so i hope he can put it all together this season.

i can't wait for the season to begin.

Brandon Knight has shown a willingness to accept challenges. I'm sure he'll face this one head on, learn what he can, and be a better player in the long run. Cheeks will teach and Billups will demo and BK7 will benefit from the best of both worlds. I wish he could get a tutorial from Isiah Thomas too.

I think bk could be a good point guard eventually and I hope he learns the position, but joes trying to win now.

Not sure they wanna wait 2 years to find out.

Forget accepting challenges... to be successful you put round pegs in round holes and square pegs in square holes.

Trying to re-shape a peg to fit in a different hole leads to confusion, confusion leads to doubt, doubt leads to dissenion, dissesion leads you nowhere

Can we please just let the kid play his natural game?

I love Brandon Knight. I hope it clicks for him this season. He actually will have a real shooter(and hopefully someone who will actually move without the ball) at SG and some shooters on the bench for the 3 spot and no ball stopper Tay and no useless Max in starting line up. Also, he will have a real veteran to help him out this time around.

This is it for BK7. He needs to get "it" and get it real fast.

Disregard blind haters comments.

I'm pullin for Knight to put it all toghether. He has one quality that almost no one else on the team has a tenacious fighting spirit ,he doesn't back down . He may or may not put it all toghether but at least he's not afraid to end up on the wrong side of a high lite reel.

Looks like CB has been offered a front office job when he's done playing... this might have been the kicker for Chauncey signing here (late night too lazy for source)

This is where CB has been spending his time... it shows he's still interested in improving his health.
