Jennings to Detroit close to happening?

Detroit and Milwaukee are nearing a sign-and-trade agreement to send Brandon Jennings to the Pistons, league sources tell Y! Sports.

Hopefully it's Stuckey centered and not Knight.

I think a blood vessel in my left eye broke when I read that on hoops rumors.

Didn't Joe see the video on why Brandon Jennings is a terrible chucker? The only way I can see this working is if they sign him and immediately shackle him offensively, and basically give him a list of things he's not allowed to do.

God....I try to look for the positives in anything, but I'm having a terrible time thinking of anything for Jennings, besides the rumor that he would be getting paid about the same as Stuckey (which would line up nicely for a sign and trade).

I actually wouldn't mind. Billups would keep him in check, and he WILL be the scoring point guard that Knight dreams to become.

If Knight is expendable, then we can make a lot of moves than we can right now.

Jennings has potential if he can get his head out of his ass. Chauncey can be a huge influence.

but if Dumars traded Knight so help me God.

Damn, I was hoping it would be Stuckey.

Then again, if it were Knight and Stuckey, that would open up a spot for Siva.

I would HATE to see Knight go to Milwaukee and explode.

Whoa! This came out of left field. Can anyone help me understand this one? I'm at a complete loss. I understand dumping Knight if he doesn't have the stuff, but Jennings? Whoa. Color me intrigued to say the least.

Wait! I found one positive! If we end up with Jennings, at least Boston fans will shut up about a Drummon for Rondo deal.

All in all, I'd rather have Jennings and Monroe, than Rondo and Knight.

Gores wants to make the playoffs now, last season even. Joe is fulfilling his owners demands as best as he can. While Jennings isn't much of an upgrade over Knight (imho), Joe is trying to put the most competitive roster together that he can.
