Trade to round out the roster

Stuckey, CV, Jerebko, future 2nd for Turner, Hawes, Richardson
Why for Detroit?
Turner and Stuckey IMO have near equal value. Turner's 3pt shot came around last season but hasn't performed to where he was drafted. Can play the 2 or 3 for us and gives us some additional depth. Change of scenery could be good for him. Hawes can play the 4 or 5 and plays better defense than CV. Has a decent jump shot. Richardson can shoot, but is negative value due to the contract, but could play a role for us.
Jennings 36 / Billups 10 / Bynum 2
Turner 24 / KCP 20 / Richardson 4
Smith 24 / Turner 8 / Luigi 16
Monroe 24 / Smith 12 / Hawes 12
Drummond 28 / Monroe 12 / Hawes 8
Philly - basically a salary dump for Philly with the value of Hawes going to Detroit. I'm sure they would want more value but I keep coming back to this as a trade to round out the roster.

I really have no idea how we get turner AND Hawes for our garbage.
The Sixers need alot more than a salary dump....

I figured as much, more likely would be to replace Hawes with Kwame. I think Turner is a better fit than Stuckey, but like I said I think their value is about equal (maybe slightly in Turner's favor since he is younger). Hawes propably has the most value in the trade, with him included I wouldn't hesitate including our 1st if we had one to trade.

I don't know if the Sixers are looking to make a splash in the 2014 free agency. That's really the only way I see them being persuaded to do this deal.
The market certainly isn't very high for Turner, but I imagine Hinkie is going to push for the top offer.

I actually don't really care for this trade. Hawes is definitely a good player and would be a great addition to the team, but he's not really what we need imo. We need a backup/emergency C to play 10-16mpg and a better shooting SG. Hawes is too talented to only play spot minutes, so I feel like he'd be wasted on this roster as he likely wouldn't play much. Also, if we trade both CV and Jerebko we don't have a backup PF anymore, as I don't care for Hawes at PF. Hawes also doesn't stretch the floor as well as Villanueva. Richardson is a good 3pt shooter, but he's old, his athleticism is going and his on a bad contract (unless the last year is a team option, then it's not as bad). Turner would fit the best out of all the 3 players, but I'm not very high on him either. Especially since I think he's an SF not an SG and we already have Singler and Datome to backup SF.
It's not a bad trade, as we're definitely getting talent/potential back. I'm just not a big fan of it. If our backup C was going to be getting more than ~14mpg then I'd probably be very interested in it due to Hawes. But to me it just fixes the hole at C with a player too good for the spot and creates a hole at PF so I'd pass on this trade.

Hmmmm, interesting deal...I thought Turner was a 3/1 not a 2/3...But for sh#ts and giggles, how about we cut Hawes out the deal and do Stuckey+Jonas for Turner+Richardson...

Maybe if Philly wants to totally TANK....and gain cap space....maybe they consider Stuckey for Turner/Kwame?

I don't want Turner because he is a bad fit. He needs the ball to be effective and is a bad shooter.

I actually really like Hawes and like his fit as a pick-and-pop big man on our team. That said, he's already an expiring, so there's really no reason for the Sixers to strictly "salary dump" him.
I've also always been a fan of Evan Turner and expect him to have a BIG year now that Holiday is gone ... but again, the Sixers aren't on the hook to him for any money past next year 'cuz he's a RFA (due an $8.7M QO), so a strict salary dump doesn't make much sense (plus, if he does have a break-out year I'm sure the Sixers will demand more for him). I think a S&T next offseason is more likely.
I like these targets and I like their fit on our team, but unfortunately, I doubt absorbing JRich's $6.6M salary for next year would be enough to get the Sixers to bite. Judging by what Hinkie got for Holiday, I think he's gonna milk the assets he's got left for all the return he can get.

That line-up has no shooting at all lol.
I like Hawes a lot and would love to add him if we were to trade Monroe and needed a back-up center that might have to be counted on to play 30 minutes at times. Turner I'll pass on, Richardson whatever he wouldn't get minutes anyway.
