DeAndre Jordan recreates dunk over Knight

This is just getting ridiculous. I won't lie, it was a nice dunk, but come on. Wade didn't get a fraction of this much hype/publicity for dunking over 6'11" Anderson Varejao and sending him flying to the ground.

Makes no sense to me why people are so up in arms about Jordan being able to dunk over someone 8 inches shorter and 50 pounds lighter than him. I really hope Knight dunks over Jordan a few times next season. Dude's getting too much glory and enjoying it far too much for my liking.

Poor BK. It was a nasty dunk but this has gone way too far imo.

what a loser.
the highlight of your career is lob dunk created by someone else, over someone 10 inches shorter and 70 pounds lighter than you?
He's really sad.
I'd say his career is more dead than BKs at this point.
You need 2-way wings, 2-way shooting bigs, and you can't allow low iq players on the court. Assist/turnover ratio is crucial. Shooting point guards are icing on the cake IF they are plus defenders.
Weaver & Casey, govern yourselves accordingly!

Dude's career stats are like 6 points and 6 rebounds.

No points
No rebounds
No blocks

What is he good for?

He's a glorified dunk contestant who was within a hair's breath of being traded to the Celtics because adds very little to the team, especially when it counts (3.7 pts a game in the playoffs).

What a joke. Dunking on a kid 100 pounds lighter and a foot shorter is the highlight of his career. Clips will be looking to dump him when they fail to win the Ship again this year.

Honestly, his only luck was playing actively during an era where there are so few good bigmen compared to PGs or SFs. If he was playing during the Shaq era, he'd be a scrub.

Knight has big-time courage on the court. I'll always like this kid, and have huge respect for how he works at his game.

I wish he could have developed PG vision quicker than he did. I wouldn't be shocked if he does develop that skill over time, nor would I be shocked if he develops into a borderline all-star in this league down the road. Not predicting that, mind you, just acknowledging that as a possibility.

Jordan is just enjoying his moment in the sun. It was a spectacular dunk - and if Drummond had done this over a guard, we'd be giggling in joy, too.

That Wade dunk was pretty popular when it happened. I remember a yahoo sports heading "Wade dunks on Verajao's soul".

As for Jordan, he's an overpaid player who's extremely limited and more interested in hobnobbing with celebs than working on his piss poor game. I hope he can reflect back on that dunk in 10 years when he's out of the league, and has zero accolades as a player, besides dunking on a 6'3 guy.

I'm pretty sure I can shoot a basketball over a garbage can, I don't see why its impressive that DeAndre (hes not worthy of just being called "jordan") dunked over Brandin Knight. I think its more impressive that Knight tried to stop him.

I would love to see Knight dunk on DeAndre though this year.

I agree with what many of you said. Sure, I too had my laughs at the dunk... especially the video splice with good Ole J.R.'s commentary. But what a punk... Where is the part where we are supposed to be impressed? Knight is at least a foot shorter than him? This would be like bragging about dunking over my kid brother who's only 15. The most impressive part IS that Knight tried to challenge the dunk. That took serious balls.

This may be one of my favorite basketball Gif's of all time capped off with Deandre's hilarious mug at the end.

It's a ridiculous play to brand. Knight never had a chance and at least tried. It says a lot more about the Piston front line than it ever did about Knight. He is a good kid, but sadly not a PG. Maybe he'll get it yet, but Dumars couldn't afford to just wait around and hope.

I sincerely hope Knight dunks on DeAndre, teabags him, and then stares him down.

I don't think Knight can match that facial expression Jordan had after the dunk. That was just epic.
