Most interesting question is how much will the rotations change from game 1?
Cheeks mentioned that Jonas will probably swap roles with charlie for this game, which was always planned. I would not be surprised to see bynum come in for Pope in this game, although coach said he had a minor hip injury for gm 1, i think that he wants to try him out, and pope seems the most likely casualty. Does Stuckey get the chance to start this game? Would not be surprised if thats a planned look, especially with the matchup with dwade at the 2, you might need a better defensive player than chauncey to guard him. if that happens maybe chauncey sits out completely and bynum plays backup PG with pope.
I wonder if gigi or siva are good to go yet? i really dont know if siva will get any minutes this preseason even if he is fully healthy, mainly because of the lineup being so new, likely the team decides theyd rather get as many minutes into them together as possible.
Hopefully the bench will look a little better, maybe mix the starters in a little more. i cant imagine the heat starters play too much, but the minutes we do get against our starters should be very good to watch. jennings and smith especially are going to be going AT THEM!

I could be wrong but I took a look last night and couldnt find it airing on fsd,espn,or nba tv.So if someone can shed some light that would be awesome.

I won't expect this pre-season game as any kind of measuring stick. The Heat are mostly trying to get their rhythm back, while Detroit will be throwing out different rotations and player combinations to see what works.

I expect the Heat to handily win this one, but I don't expect the Pistons' starters to log big minutes either.

Will DWade try to get revenge on Drummond for picking his pocket twice in their last meeting?

Is this game going to be televised? Even through League Pass?

I'm not sure if this game will be on TV or not. I am concerned that this game will be bad for the Pistons. I would love to see KCP get the start though.

yeah probably another stream of the Palace video feed is all that will be available. Better than nothing.

surprised with singler starting. likely chauncey doesnt play today, and the 4 guards are stuckey, bynum, kcp and jennings, with singler moving quickly to the 3 when the frontline goes smaller.

I'm still a little pissed that our game against the Heat last season was not on ESPN. It was originally scheduled for ESPN but they later decided to go in another direction. The country missed their chance to see the Bynum to Drummond tandem.

Not that it matters it's preseason...Hope this means KCP gets some serious run. Get him out of that shooting funk!

Within half an hour this game just became a whole lot less interesting. Singler announced as starter for this game meant billups is probably out, then stuckey breaks thumb after jamming it in a car door(!!!), and then jennings is ruled out with wisdom tooth soreness means bynum is starting.

Stuckey was dressed with a bandage on his thumb. Doesnt make sense. Why would you need to get ready if he screwed his thumb yesterday?

No Jennings?

I don't care about Stuckey, but was looking forward to seeing Jennings again. At least we get to see the frontcourt still. My guess is Billups starts at PG over Bynum, unless it was pre determind he would sit out.
