Pistons/Cavs 7:00pm

I think Chauncey is playing tonight, and it would be a good time to end the Bynum/Singler backcourt experiment. Specifically the Bynum aspect. I understand Chauncey being forced to play SG when Jennings was playing, but no reason Bynum should be forcing him off the ball. Also would like to see KCP then start at SG over Singler.
I think that's the lineup we should go with opening night if Jennings and Stuckey can't play, and it should start tonight and the rest of the preseason, so they can get experience together and be ready of the opener.
Chauncey/KCP/Smith/Monroe/Drummond
That backcourt should fit well. KCP can cover for Chauncey on defense, and Chauncey can cover up his rookie mistakes on offense. Plus both can shoot, which covers up for the frontcourt.

Pistons should have a great shooting night as long as nobody on the Cavs tries to stand in front of them while they shoot around the basket.

that would mean we would have to actually attempt a shot around the basket instead of chucking jumpers.

Cavs will be without Waiters, Karasev, Bynum and a few more people. I'm just not sure where they're going to get enough scoring from.

If I see Bynum and Singler starting again I'm gonna lose my mind. I know its only preseason but we desperately need to start building some chemistry and establishing a rotation or else we gonna look flat out brutal to start this season.

It's not like we're an offensive juggernaut. Even with everybody healthy and a rebounding advantage we will still be toward the bottom of the league in most if not all offensive categories this season, excluding points in the paint and offensive rebounds anyway.

Waiters is out, but Karasev must have gotten his visa issues solved. He'll be starting in Waiters place. Oh, and Jack is out as well.

If there is any decency in the coaching staff we'll see
Billups
KCP
Smith
Monroe
Drummond
Start the game.
And they'll look around and their eyes will light up... And preseason will finally start.
All that time with 1 or 0 shooters on the floor last night was just embarrassingly dumb. We literally welcomed DRose back to the NBA. Maybe Cheeks and Bynum tanked that game to support their Chi-town brother DRose.

huh? For one, if we are near the top in points in the paint, then we will also be near the top in FG%, so that's 3 major offensive categories right there alone. We also have a lot of great passers on this team and should be a high assist team, as well as good fastbreak team with our athleticism and speed. Points are subjective because it all depends on pace, but all the other categories we should score favorably in. I don't see how this is going to be a team near the bottom in offense at all. Where are you getting this from?
