we get a shooter for the 2/3/4. they get the guy who is more of a sure thing but older.


2. Stuckey, Jerebko, Moose for Maynor, Porter Jr., Okafor, our 1st of 2014 back
Was: gives Maynor, Porter and Okafor and something to Charlotte
Cha: gives the pick back but gets something from Washington
we get 2 shooters and a back-up center version of a beast
Washington gets the best player.
Charlotte gets something instead of a non-lotto pick.

2.5 Maybe Siva and Mitchell to the Western Conference for future 2nd's. If we don't need them that is. Save a tad of money. And those 2nd's would have at least some trade value in the future whereas Siva and Mitchell might just be gone.


All in all.....
Bynum, Stuckey, Moose can't stretch the floor, but Maynor, Daye and Porter can.
Get that 1st back.
Okafor is Drummond Jr. when he is against a bench center. Put shooters around him the same way and let him beast a back-up.
More cap space next off-season just for poops and giggles.

Hella shooting. Drummond would be like the Orlando Dwight. (They won 60 GAMES!!!!!.) Smoove and Okafor bring extra rim protection while not ruining the ability to run and shoot. Could be a deadly team.

I would do this because we get to keep Shump.
Pistons become a perrenial playoff team with Drummond and a healthy Eric Gordon.
Pelicans become more balanced and since this trade won't happen before Dec. or Jan, Tyson is practically an expiring. -


by the way, this trade works, if NY sends Shump to the Pistons too. I would do this for Monroe.
You guys get Gordon and Shump for Monroe, but no picks from NY.

Unless I'm misreading this, the Pelicans are straight salary dumping in this deal? Trading Smith, Gordon, Anderson, and a first for expiring Chandler, expiring Stuckey, and J.R. Smith?
