Game 3. (1-1) vs. Boston Celtics (0-2). 6PM ET.
Debut of the motor city uniforms.
Celtics starters:
Bradley/ Green/ Wallace/ Bass/ Faverani
The celtics are big in that green is starting at the 2, but it doesnt get much bigger as it goes up. Bass is no more than 6'10 and from what ive seen faverani isnt much bigger, meaning that we should still have a huge size advantage with monroe/drummond despite them being a 'big' lineup.
Prepare for them to hacked though. They have a lot of solid but not great bigs rolling off their bench such as humphries, olynyk, sullinger who all will play knowing they have 6 fouls to use.
Really hope jennings can play, he is a game time desicion at this point, and i dont want 30 minutes of will bynum again. Even if he does play its unlikely he starts, or plays more than 20 mins, but those minutes are likely come off of bynum and that can only help. If they come off of KCP then im not going to be happy.
After the memphis game i wouldnt be suprised to see billups and stuckey as the starters to be honest. Everything ive heard from cheeks makes me thinks he loves stuckey, and wanted to start him with jennings before the injuries, and then when he played well the other day he probably gets a ton of minutes now.
I might watch this game delayed unless the seahawks are blowing out the bucs, but should only be by about half an hour and then catch up by halftime.
Lets get to 2-1!!

They started Green at the 2!
I hope this is a talent defining game, and Detroit doesn't even let Boston come within a mile of winning this game.

Anything less, and I'll consider it a disappointment.

I want them to destroy this Celtics team. We've done it time and time again last year without the talent we had now.

If Jennings does play he will have possibly the best defensive PG in the game to deal with in Bradley.

Really want Jennings to play. We need to see how this team functions at full speed which we've yet to see. We got robbed on that Drummond tip vs Memphis, we need to win this one definitively.

If the Pistons care about people believing in this team, they win this game without a doubt. No excuse for not winning tonight.

"(Friday) night was a good opportunity for us to see where we are to see if we can compete with a team that was in the Western Conference finals," Jennings said. "I took a lot of confidence off of that, to know we're going to be pretty good this year."

"I think we have a dominant frontcourt, so it's going to be important that we get those guys the ball, especially Greg Monroe and Josh Smith," Jennings said. "I definitely have been paying attention. This year, my goal is to live in the paint. That way, I can make things happen for everybody."

wayyyy more Monroe than Josh but yes, we should live in the paint. Love that quote.

If Jennings plays I predict 10+ assists.
That would make me oh so happy.

Talk is cheap. He's saying that but he'll lose control in time. I'd be surprised and happy if he didn't.
Match should be easy. Last year was 2-1, now big four gone and Detroit gained a lot.

Them playing Green at the 2 is even more reason to start Stuckey or KCP at SG. Billups/Bynum will struggle against that backcourt. With that said, this Celtics team is one of the worst rosters in the league. I will be disappointed if we don't blow them out. Hopefully Jennings has a Stuckey-esque comeback tonight.

I wanna see Jennings put up 8 assists regularly. He has so many targets now.
