I thought this was an interesting read:

Apparently, he hurt Roy's feelings.

Nice find on the article. I love Andre. He's starting to remind me a bit of Kevin Garnett (not in play style, don't kill me). Whenever there's a stoppage in play and someone shoots the ball he'll go up and grab it. He's starting to trash talk to get into players heads. He's becoming a no nonsense type of player and I absolutely love it.

If Hibbert had even a speck of real athleticism, he'd be first team All-NBA -- the guy is huge and has very good instincts.

With a guy like that, Andre HAS to use his athletic talent to gain an advantage. Glad he tried, and I'm glad he tried with his mouth, too. Whatever it takes.

I couldn't watch the game, but I heard that things were getting a little chippy between the players. Was this true? For more people than Drummond and Hibbert?

Most definitely. Paul George is carrying himself with serious swagger these days, and Josh didn't like it but couldn't say much because George was draining shots in his face. Lance Stephenson is a complete idiot and got into it a little with Stuckey early in the game and KCP late in the game. Hibbert also dumped Josh Smith on a layup and looked like he was going to catch him and soften his fall -- but then changed his mind and let him land on his hip. Moose, as always, wasn't happy with the refs -- David West doesn't really say anything, but they were definitely pushing and elbowing. West got away with hooking Moose's arm while looking for an offensive rebound, foul on Monroe when they both flailed.

Probably a number of additional incidents I'm forgetting.

Didn't Jennings actually throw down Watson near the end of the game?

Yep, that too. No flagrant, either. It was a weird play.

It was Stephenson who popped Singler in the face with his forearm and got a flagrant.

When shooting free throws, David West told Jennings to "Shut yo ass up."

the bj foul at the end of the game didnt warrant a flagrant at all. that was a good no call.

I'd credit Sheed with any developing of a mean streak/swagger - Dre is too happy go lucky in personality, somebody needs to be getting on him to "fix his face" and be a monster on the court. Sheed is a chill dude off the court, but was passionate to a fault at times on the court.

Actually that piece of trash thug threw a punch and should've been booted and suspended for 15 games like the rule says. I was disgusted/shocked that he only got a flagrant 1.

I LOVE this from Dre. Hopefully bringing in Sheed, Smith, and Jennings can bring some serious attitude back to the Pistons. We need to bring a tough attitude and grindy style of basketball back to Detroit.

The team has definitely llacked a mean streak for the last few years, i'm liking what read in the article.
The only way this frontcourt is going to succeed is if they start getting mean in the paint. They need to let teams know you can't come inside. I like it.

There was a lot of hard fouls thrown in from what I saw from highlights and the 4th quarter. This is definitely beginning to look a lot more meaner and all out basketball. I love it.

Can't wait to see him go up against KG and Cousins.

Drummond's going to make Cousins pout and maybe cry. That dude cannot get it together (another couple outbursts this week), even when he's playing well. Mental midget.

That was good to read, it's hard to imagine Dre being like that on the court because of his personality off the court, but if he does develop a mean streak it can only be beneficial to the team. The best part of the game was when Dre was jabbing Hibbert in the post, then when Hibbert got the catch he plowed into Dre and was called for a charge, Dre baited him perfectly. With Dre like this and Smith and Jennings in FU mode, the team is starting to develop a bit of swagger.

KCP seems like he'll have certain toughness/attitude/chip-on-shoulder once he gets playing and has some success. The sooner we get him in the starting line-up the better I say.

I do hope Drummond is learning/knows how to throw and tuck his chin just in case - flailing wildly or not being able to take a shot are not good looks should something ever go down.
