Dre has his own youtube channel, documenting himself. Pretty casual and down to Earth from the pieces I've watched. It hasn't received any media buzz, so I figured I could post a link.

It's all great how Andre is immersed in social media and interacting with the fans through twitter, but to me it is starting to come across like he is spending to much time on this and not on basketball. I follow him on twitter and he is on there 24/7. I don't get how a professional athlete can spend that much time editing his videos and taking pictures and responding to fans. Andre has great potential, but he hasn't done that much yet. I hope all this does not go to his head.

Silly logic. No one is in the gym 24/7.
And do you actually think he doesnt have a pr team who does this?

1 - I seriously doubt Dre edits his videos and all that kind of thing. Dude does have friends, doesn't he?
2 - considering the travel schedule in the NBA wouldn't you assume he has plenty of downtime to post junk on twitter/facebook/instagram?
Arena to bus to plane to bus to hotel to bus to arena to bus to plane to bus to hotel to bus to arena....
FFS dude has all the time in the world to be posting junk!

I'm not sure. Ask him yourself- he does Q&A posts. A lot of stuff does come off as simple videography, and simple editing.

I have friends in Miami that are in a group of Goped riders who do big group rides. Someone GoPros the event and they have a very well edited video on Youtube within a day of riding with music n all. It is not that hard to do anymore. Any one of his friends could edit that. Heck, I could edit that good within 4-8 hours of work.

That editing would take someone with experience about 20 minutes, and a good majority of the time would be spent downloading the footage. (Its just some highlights from his old mixtapes). Anyways, NBA players have tons of downtime. Andre is just someone who comes from our generation who embraces technology. I remember hearing once that he said he was interested in programming and computer hardware.
Anyways, I think Andre will become one of the faces of the NBA in a few years, similarly to Blake Griffin.

Drummond said this in an ESPN interview.
http://espn.go.com/blog/playbook/fandom ... rs-rihannaIf you weren't playing basketball, what would you be doing?
"That's easy. I'd be a computer engineer. I'd be into software building. Yeah, a little weird, right?"
