At this point I hope we don't get embarrassed on ESPN, win or lose. If we lose, a lot of people will hit the panic button. If Mo starts Chauncey again it won't be pretty.

Billups missed training according to the WT, so they may lead to either Stuckey or KCP satarting and that'll at least give us a better start to the game.

I'm going to the Chi V Raps game, so i'll check the scores before watching it afterwards. :D

Funny Chauncey gets benched and suddenly misses practice

I hope we get murdered on ESPN tomorrow

Maybe Dumars will get nervous and fix these lineups jeez

The only think I am worried about(I called this start almost exactly. New team, new coach, e.t.c.)is our coach.

I don't think I have ever seen him talking during a timeout, or when he stands like a statue when on the sideline.

Cheeks may be the slowest moving coach, I have ever seen. He is horrendous, in everything he does. Rotations, obvious OH GOD MY EYES ARE BLEEDING timeouts, lineups, you name it. Hell, some of his timeout plays look like he just tells the players, "do what you do!"

Just horrific.

The team? Expected it.

We're never going to get a good coach ever again because we run all of them out of town. We'll all just have to deal with it.

I'll definitely be watching the game tomorrow night.

Part of me kind of hopes they get absolutely destroyed, Cousins has his 1 in 5 huge games where he goes off and blows the Pistons out. Just to rub it in Dumars' face that his hodge podge team building is proving to be a complete failure.

If we lose tomorrow, it'll be amazing to see the board implode, to say the least.

We're still not even 10 games in, so I'm not going to hit the panic button yet, but I do not like the rotation thus far. It's horrid and that's my only problem.

Then we will be 2-6, lol. Honestly, that's all it would mean.

If its near the end of the season and we are close to being eliminated from the playoffs, then push the proverbial panic button all you want. But when even with a loss, we may only be a few games out of the 3rd-4th seed with 74 games left, it makes no sense right now.

In fact, a lot of posters predicted us to be bad or just squeak into the playoffs, so I don't get this outrage over a subpar start. The way I see it, as long as we can stay close to the pack, eventually this team will start gelling and go on a winning streak and catch up. We aren't going to be last in defensive rebounding all year with 2-3 elite rebounders in the start lineup. And the 3pt shooters are eventually going to get out of their funk too. We may not have the best shooters, but they are better than this. Singler is not a 13% shooter. Once those 3's start going in, combined with this paint dominance, this offense is going to be scary, and when they start holding teams to one shot on defense like they are capable, they will start wreaking some havoc.

Whether its tomorrow or later doesn't really matter, because its so early, once they do starting gelling they could easily go on a 7-8 game win streak and make up these early losses later.

Just curious, what off season moves would you have liked to have seen?

I thought Igoudala would've been a better fit than Smith, but he obviously didn't want to play here.

Please, do go on, and tell me of the virtues of coach cheeks, and his passion for the game, and its players, on the sideline. You must have access to a hidden camera that actually shows him coaching, because I don't.

Explain, how exactly its hyperbole. Unless you see a "method" to his 20seconds into the 4th quarter change, when he could have just as easily used the player he wanted in the first place at the start of the 4th quarter madness.

If they lose to the Kings we should rent a bus... send this bus to pick up all of the over reactive fair weathers... next stop the Ambassador bridge for a sideways departure.
