Re: Blow it Up deal...w/NO
In no situation whatsoever, with any kind of controlled substances involved, does this trade happen. Ever. If Dumars pulls that off he spends the next 18 hours masturbating to his own reflection while giggling.

The Pelicans trade Davis in what scenario? Seriously, that's ridiculous. Detroit couldn't even get close to a deal that would even make the Pels curious.

Davis is literally their entire future, there's no way this happens without us trading Dumars head and legs.

Re: Blow it Up deal...w/NO
What real assets (in terms of age, potential, talent) do we have?
Drummond, obviously, is a top ten asset in the NBA
KCP is a good chip
Monroe has value, although he's about to get paid
Siva and Mitchell are worth something as 2nd round picks that could stick
Stuckey and CV are expirings and worth something as a result
Jennings, Billups, Bynum, Datome, Singler, Jerebko,, Jorts and Smoove have no real value above their contracts.
Given what I'm seeing, I'm not sure we could trade the whole roster for Davis, and if we did, Drummond would make up 80% of the value.

Re: Blow it Up deal...w/NO
This is embarrassing.
Flat out embarrassing. We not only get one of the most untradeable assets in the league, but we also get him without giving up our own best trading chip. This could be a new low for trade proposals on this board, and I've seen a lot of douseys in my day.

For some reason I think this gif fits any and all of Piston Pete's trade threads.

Pete, you've been a member here way too long for this kind of foolishness. Seriously.

Re: Blow it Up deal...w/NO
Davis is even more untradeable than Drummond at this point. They aren't trading him unless they are getting an equal or better player in return.

NOP wouldn't trade Davis for anybody, even Lebron when you consider his contract situation.
Count that baby and a foul!

Pistons Trade
Charlie Villanueva
Rodney Stuckey
to Miami for
Lebron James
We lose 2 future hall of famers, but get a somewhat decent scorer who might fit into Cheek's system someday.

Monroe's nice and all, but I think Mitchell would really fit their system more. Take Monroe out, throw in Mitchell and have NO give us 3 1sts to even it out.

Thought we needed an SF Pete.
We clearly don't need Anthony Davis.
