I'm not sure if we wouldn't be better off with Bynum. Like Bynum/KCP as our starting guards. I can't believe I'm saying that, or that I kind of would rather have resigned Calderon.
I think he can't be traded for a while, IIRC.
There were rumors about Lin being unhappy and not getting used in Houston. I'd trade for him but we'd have to throw something in addition to Jennings to make it work.
I imagine Brooklyn is feeling desperate and would make a risky move like trading for Jennings. Maybe Utah, too, since they are trying to tank. Other than that it's hard to picture anyone wanting him on his contract.

change gerald wallace with jeff green and I would do it.
Jennings can't be traded until december 15th and hopefully around that time rondo would be back already.

New York would take Jennings in a heartbeat especially at his contract
Jennings + Jerebko for Bargs + Shumpert

Put it this way, if the PG desperate Pistons want to trade Jennings, there's a pretty damn good chance that no one wants him.

Boston wants to dump salary. I would take both Lee and Bass back from Boston. Both awesome bench players and only have one more year left. Boston saves 10M that way just as if they would be dumping Wallace.

Well I still might do it then, we need an elite pg if we are ever going to be good again.

Did you guys miss last Summer when no one wanted him?

Ive posted tons of Boston, Orlando, NY deals
Those are the teams we should be willing to deal with.
Maybe Houston, but I dont talk to them unless they are willing to part with Asik, Parsons, Lin, and Jones for Bynum, KCP, Monroe, Smith. Then we move Asik and Jones for a starting 2.

I never really watched Jennings except for high lights. The scouting report on him seemed good compared to Brandon Knight. I thought he was someone who could create offense himself and prone to chucking (and since he vowed to pass first I was cautiously optimistic that could be better). His assists (7.1) and ast/to (2.78) are career highs, to his credit. Still, the offense looks sloppy and unorganized when he's on the court.
I think Cheeks just needs to consider him off the bench if no trades come. There should be no mandate to start anyone.
A funny thing about our team to me is how much talent we have on paper. We have a all-star in Josh Smith, 4 other guys with PER > 18, one guy with PER > 21. If this talent is useless for winning games it should be useable in a trade.
Got to like Stuckey has raised his trade value, though he isn't the guy I'd like to trade at this point.

Boston says no.
We'd need to take trash back to trade our trash and a pick for Rondo.

I don't think you can conclude no team wants him, just because the 5-6 teams that had capspace this summer didn't want him.
Even though he's not playing winning basketball, he's putting up some great numbers which make him tradeable. Plus, his contract is very reasonable based on his production.
They arent winning, so I don't care who they trade at this point, as long as its not Drummond.

I've said it before, it seems like Jennings knows before he gets to half court whether he's going to look for the open man, drive to the lane and force a shot that isn't there or chuck one up from 26ft. I almost want to see Cheeks tell him no shooting at all just to see what happens because I have been very impressed with his playmaking at times.

If our coach would hold him accountable and bench him when hes totally playing reckless, get him under control with his chucking.Jennings wouldnt be that bad,we can cover up his defense, but his chucking and shot selections are terrible when he feels like he has to take over.It should be burned into his brain that he needs to pass 1st and only take shots when theres no other option and he is in a good position (since dumars has giving him a green light to take over games, its going to be extremly HARD to turn him around)......Sigh

Jennings isn't going to change if he's benched. We knew what we were getting when we signed him. Chucking is his M.O.

And Jennings defense is pretty bad, from him gambling too much to sagging off his man from playing help defense too much, and to playing unintelligent matador defense, it makes sense why we absolutely suck at perimeter D and risk getting foul troubles for our bigs.
http://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/1i ... described/Check that thread out, it describes 2 PGs in it. One is our beloved and tiring PG and the other, Jeremy Lin. On paper, they're pretty similar, but the thing that differentiates them is smarter defense AND incredibly smarter offense. Guess who I'm praising and did I mention these guys got roughly the same contract right now and were both looking to be moved last offseason?
Goddamn it Joe.

Lin turns the ball over a ton and also plays with 2 superstars, they both stink but if I had to choose one I guess I'll take the guy that can actually speak English.

So Jeremy Lin? Cause you know, guys who graduated from Harvard are milky ways better than guys graduated from high school when it comes to how well spoken they are
